Meet Thor. 6month old pit mix who is here for 3 weeks of training. In 4 days we have accomplished so much more than just commands. When he arrived he was very nervous around other dogs. He needed a muzzle for the first half of the first day as his nervousness was causing him to snap. Skip to day 4 and he loves running with other dogs and is excelling at commands.
Rome wasn't built in a day and diamonds are made under a bit of pressure. Keep following to see how this flower blossoms!!
Wanted to keep followers in the loop and just remind/inform you all that not only do we train dogs. We also accept dogs for boarding and daycare.
Super excited for North to take his new brother Bear home after daycare today. They've played plenty at daycare but yesterday we took Bear to North's house for an introduction. There will be setting of boundaries but I believe they will be best buds and go on many great adventures. Maybe even cause a little ruckus as brothers do😉😁
It is important to regulate but it is also important to let them figure it out amongst themselves.
Bear(black dog) always has tons of energy and likes to be in the face immediately. I allowed Emory to check him appropriately this morning because bear will be going to a new home after daycare today and needs to understand that when you're being submitted over and over, it's best to take the alternative without starting a fight. I voiced a notice to emory only once because you can see bear go limp letting emeory know I submit. This is how you let dogs figure out where they are in a pack without an intervention.
Some big boys here today for daycare. Always wanted a doberman. Ended up with an emory and B instead
Daycare and boarding today🌞🌞
Behind the scenes of dog care. It's not just playing with dogs and throwing a ball all day. Would be easier if it was. Frequent cleaning(daily). Poop pick up is the worst.
Keeping busy in the shade
