This guy here was a fighter for sure he was actually missing the majority of his left ear so I had to do a lot of work to that little ear. 😁love how this one turned out out.

Well finished this one up for one of the most important people in my life. My dad! this one has been in the making for quite some time.

I definitely was not an upholsterer in any former life 🤣but I am super happy with how it turned out. My husband laser engraved the coyote on the back which I think just adds to it. He does have some good ideas 😉

Finished this wall pedestal. I just love how these mounts show off the deer! That extra shoulder showing gives it a completely different look.

One thing about taxidermy is hides are rarely perfect. whether it’s drag marks, large holes blown through them, being skinned/cut improperly or just the fact the animal was a fighter and has wounds to prove it. Being able to fix those areas take as much artistic ability as mounting them and some times can be quite a challenge.
Here’s the before and after of one that came in with a lot of missing hair on the back and behind the ear. I believe from some type of skin infection.
