An update on sweet little Jack.. he did excellent in surgery yesterday ! He has been at at a foster home since Friday with a retired couple that has one of my first puppies.. we decided to see if he could get along with their male dog, Stewart. Other than Jack getting the nickname Elvis, because he can't stop moving his hips (trying to mount Stewie, hopefully the surgery will help stop that) he is doing great learning how to be loved and getting lots of attention!! Stewie has been showing him the ropes, like the best spot to potty in the yard, which neighbors to bark at, the cat he needs to keep an eye on, and how much his humans love their 4 legged critters. I think with a little more patience and routine, he will be just fine 💙

I got the dreaded call that one of our previous puppies had been abandoned on Christmas eve, we got the resources needed and went to rescue him on Monday. When we got to the apt complex where he was, I walked into a trashed apt with no sounds.. my heart sank thinking he wasn't there but as I opened the bathroom door he yelped and fell into a urine soaked floor. I grabbed him as fast as I could and he flooded me with kisses and the entire ride home, he knew that he had just been rescued. He had never seen a groomer and has severe separation anxiety. He will go to the vet on Tuesday to get a full exam and be neutered. He is just 6 months old. He will be looking for a FOREVER home with someone who is home all day with no small children that has patience, lots of it because he has no manners. He does fine with cats and female dogs but shows some fear aggression towards male dogs. He IS mostly house trained and will ring the bells on our door. He is just so sweet and words can't describe how stunningly beautiful he is. I gave him a haircut and he did excellent on the table! If you're interested in adopting him, please let me know. I will be very picky about where he goes.
