Did you know we offer shortened, from the ground, lessons during poor weather? We have a barn to stay dry while we explore all aspects of horsemanship such as grooming, wound care, hoof care, nutrition, and more. Horses still need care 365 days of the year, rain or shine! Christmas season is here and we have some dirty but very happy horses who are growing their winter fluff rapidly. Ben was an incredible horse. He taught me so much in our years together, from 2004 to 2019. It has been 5 years since he crossed the rainbow bridge but it feels like forever. Memories of him remind me of how much fire I have in my heart to share my passion and knowledge of horses with others. Pennywise had 3 healthy triplets on Jan 22nd. Momma rejected the runt look a-like so I am bottle raising all 3 triples. Can't complain about spending so much time with the goats plus makes for some super friendly baby goats. I milk Penny who produces over half a gallon of milk a day which is exceeding what the babies currently drink. Homemade icecream and cheese soon to be made!
The dark one is now a wether named Texas Pecan.
The bigger more white doelings name is Braveheart.
The momma look-a-like doeling is Princess Ella.

The horses came home Jan 19th! They are doing wonderful and its been a busy month finishing projects and having the great distraction of baby goats which are now 3 weeks old. See photos in another post 😉 The horses deserve this post to themselves ☺️ The neighbors horse behind the property visits every once in a while and occasionally the cows come up. The horses love having their little goatie friends living next door too. We have had a lot of rain the past month, which has been a new adventure for all of us! For those that remember Bandits distate for rain (and how he'd get cranky and be done riding if he got wet?!) Well, Bandit comes to greet me even if its pouring rain now, without a flinch! 🤣 Their shed is huge, 10ft tall by 32ft long by 16feet deep, they only occasionally use it when its raining really hard! Enjoy the photos y'all!

Have gotten to visit with the ponies twice since moving, have been sick and busy getting the house and property ready for them to come home! In the meantime, the horse that lives behind our place is very curious about the goats. The dogs LOVE exploring the property. The ducks are content and happy quackers.
