Our members had a great time serving lunch at the Learning Peace Camp, a free camp for kids age 6-13 at the Hispanic Cultural Center of Idaho in Nampa. We are proud of our club members, Candi and Michael Ciscell, for their ongoing commitment to the camp. The Rotary Club of Nampa donated $2,000 to support the camp's goal to give children tools to encourage understanding, inspire connection, and build sustainable peace. We believe this camp is one more step in Rotary International efforts to promote peace around the world. THE MAGIC OF ROTARY. Rotary District 5400

Chief Michael Stowell of the Canyon County Paramedics gave us an overview of the great work of his organization. Among other challenges, the busy station off 12th near the old Mercy Medical Center is being torn down.. There is an override levy coming up in May to replace that station, a new one in Caldwell, and 2 new ambulances plus staff to serve our growing county. Here is a short video https://youtu.be/jhMISWxorM4 or check out https://www.ccparamedics.com/levy to learn more.
