Now that the kittens are somewhat better (Thumper here still gets snotty nose bubbles) but I can share some photos again! I also want to mention that we are desperate for KMR. Thumpers family is trying to wean but baby thumper loves his bottle! Princess's family has well! I've updated the Amazon list if anyone is able to send anything- if not enjoy baby Thumper!

Samba is one of the homeless cats that live around the Beirut Port area. Kamal noticed her on one of the visits to feed them. The first thing he saw is the red bulge under her belly and when he approached her, he knew she needed to be taken to the vet right away where all types of tests were done (blood tests, X-rays, Echo...)
Her diagnosis is heartbreaking: A Mammary tumor, spleen abnormality, infected teeth, eye abnormality, and is pregnant
She needs immediate surgery to remove the tumor and sadly will not be able to keep her babies. The vet will also perform teeth removal and while in surgery decide it a splenectomy will be needed.
A statement from her foster: "When I look at her I feel she is telling me 'please don't hurt me' She is in pain and while she is afraid of me when I first approach her, she just looks at me with those fearful sad eyes, does not show any aggression nor does she hiss at me. Once my hand slowly touches her, she accepts the kind gesture and relaxes slowly. She is breaking my heart; I hope she makes it through surgery".
Samba will undergo surgery today with a 50/50 chance of recovery
Kamal's generosity has no border when it comes to animals and he is covering the cost for her care.

panleuk YOU SUCK. How dare you take the lives of these 4 sweet kittens who had their whole life ahead of them. It started with Rascal- his results came back positive for panleuk/distemper. Cider passed the same night Rascal did. Boo and Hickory have been fighting so hard but lost their battle late last night and this morning.
SPICE IS FIGHTING HARD. SHE IS FIGHTING SO HARD. We are absolutely devastated and broken. Rest in peace Boo, Hickory, Cider, and Rascal. I'm sorry- I tried so hard with supportive care.❤️❤️❤️

SUFFERING on the street.
Fluffy was abandoned in a neighborhood where a nice lady feeds the stray cats there. He was terrified of the streets and she did her best to comfort him and give him food.

HOW is this little girl a YEAR OLD today!?! ❤️* For those that don't know, Firefly is from a hoarding situation in Yonkers, where I pulled 23 kittens and about 13 adults cats. All of the adults broke out with the calici virus and the kittens broke out with distemper. Other shelters who helped with this hoarding house also had the same fate. While the adults recovered- we lost 22 kittens.
Firefly was the only survivor of distemper. And now she's a YEAR OLD. My baby girl Happy Birthday 🙂 #

Update on Archie! He is doing so much better being on this medication! The swelling in his belly has decreased, he is back to chasing his tail and playing with the other cats, and back to stealing people food. We still have a LONG recovery but it's looking promising!

Jamie has a resting worried face but we promise he's a chill guy! The client saw the cat near a garbage bin. He left the cat for a few hours and then came back and the cat was still there so he picked the cat up, put it in his truck, and googled where to take it.
