Going to miss coming home to these minibuns. Now that they are teen buns, it's time for them to be spayed and then, eventually, find their forever homes. I've so enjoyed watching them grow up. Fostering is a great way to meet and love a multitude of buns, and help them become excellent bunpanions. I've been really fortunate that some of my former fosters' families have kept in touch and sent me updates on the buns. I love seeing what they're up to and how much their people adore them.

Thank you so much to the 50 (!) people that have ordered a copy of my book this week. It's amazing knowing so many people will have one arriving on their doorstep shortly.

I'm reposting this Christmas tree enrichment activity. It's the perfect thing to do with all the boxes that tent to collect this time of year. You can go small (perfect for throwing around) but I'd also like you to imagine a big tree - 2' tall or bigger! Perfect for your rabbit to hide behind or to hang treats and other toys from (it can help to make some holes to tie toys to before you assemble). If you do make a tree then I would love to see a photo of the results. I'll pop the template in the comments.

What to do with all the hay dust at the bottom of the box/bag/bin? I saved some up and then mixed it with mashed bananas and applesauce, squashed it into little balls, and baked it for a long time at 300° (until they were dry and crispy). The buns went WILD for these cookies. They didn't get to lick the mixing bowl this time, as they had already gone to bed. (Also horse-approved!) Have you ever made treats for your buns? What did they like?
