Take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle to find some comfort while sipping on a delicious cup of coffee or tea (or a smoothie), snacking on paninis, pastries, and MORE, while SNUGGLING QT KITTENS!!! You do NOT need to adopt a QT Kitten (or even want to adopt) to attend! We use our Meet & Greet Events as Field Trips for our "cuties" to get used to different sounds, smells, and humans!!! >^..^< Want to Volunteer?!? Come introduce yourself!!! Allison has a Therapy Cat named Rainy, so she obviously knows what she is talking about! Mom attended last month’s Cat Crash Course and said it was PURRfect!!!

New month, new CAT CRASH COURSE!

As a volunteer in our local animal shelters, I see a lot of cats surrendered, sometimes more than once. To that end, I created a FREE online Cat Crash Course that covers the essentials of cat ownership. I piloted it through our local animals shelters, and now I'm offering it to anyone who wants to understand cats and learn more about their needs. The course will be offered on the fourth Saturday of every month, 1 PM Central Time.

What do you think? ~ Check out the new sign Mom made to put on the dash of her car! Mom drives a Tesla, an electric car with "Dog Mode" that keeps the AC or heat on AND has a sign on the dash screen that tells the temperature, but some concerned bystanders don't look at the message on the dash screen and can become worried about my safety. I think Mom did a great job on my sign. Is there anything else you would want to know if you saw me in the car alone and were worried about my safety?!? QT Kittens

We’ve had a recent increase in scammers claiming to have “therapy” cats/kittens for sale or adoption, here are the facts: In order to be a legitimate therapy animal the owner and the animal have to pass a behavior and temperament evaluation and a handler skills evaluation together. The animal must be at least one year old so there is no such thing as a legitimate therapy kitten. Some people buy a therapy animal certificate from online sites, which are not legitimate, or create their own fake certificate. There are two kinds of people who make these claims: they are either uneducated about the requirements of a therapy cat, or they are intentionally deceptive. Some claim that specific breeds are “therapy” cats but that’s not accurate, most legitimate therapy cats came from a shelter or rescue group.
We hope this helps you make wise decisions, we don’t want anyone to get scammed. We delete and block as many as we can but they are relentless!!
