My first ever veterinary blood draw!! Done on a wonderful dog owned by a coworker, I completed this in 2018. The excitement was so real and definitely sparked a passion for pet health. Had a wonderful morning meeting a gentleman and his two female dogs in Liberty to do some in home nail trims. We were wiggly but sweet! We after went for a walk in the beautiful weather and visited a dog park where I found this super cool pantry! I was given this hay at birds yesterday and decided to donate it to the cause. What a fantastic little idea.

Spent another 3 hours with the rescue birds working on my Avian Behavior studies! It's amazing how similar and different it is from working with the dogs. Definitely a bit scarier at times lol.

A little outside the dogs we are used to, but me and my pack had a wonderful experience attending the International Icelandic Horse show in Iowa. It is a dream breed of mine and I met so many wonderful horses and people. Check out some of these beauties and stay tuned for more pics to come!

What a mess! But what a good time its been. We have been struggling in the heat for sure - a tinge over 70 and I'm melting. And our dogs definitely feel that too. They drag as well when its so hot out. Please keep in mind safety for your dogs! If you wouldn't walk barefoot on the blacktop, your dogs shouldn't either! Check their feet and be diligent about protecting them from the damage that heat can cause. My dogs are so much happier when its cold out and so am I. Fingers crossed its a short summer!
