For 16 years I've called this place and these people my 2nd home, and just worked my last day yesterday. Hasn't quite hit me that I won't be showing up there anymore. 😔💔
Thank you for making me feel so loved as we start our new adventures and for all the years of laughs and memories. I sure will miss all of it. And all of you (fur babies included, esp Captain) 🐾❤️... you never know though, I MAY just pop out of the bushes at this years Christmas party 🤷‍♀️😉 either way, will keep in touch for sure! Good morning!

Unfortunately there was a power outage in the Crossroads Market yesterday around 2pm. A few of the stores including our clinic are without electricity. The main breaker blew. From our clinic all the way to the To Spiti Greek place. We are closed until further notice. If you have a medical emergency please call Emergency Pet Hospital located off Dudley Dr and Pine Ridge 239.263.8010. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope to be back in office by Monday 6/10 but will continue to leave updates. Thank you.

It's almost that time! Please remember 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀. Simply licking their pollen can cause gastrointestinal effects. Actual consumption is often times fatal. PLEASE chose a different flower.
PS. be cautious of who you bring Lillies too! My husband brought home flowers last week and they went straight in the trash. Now he knows better.

For close to 2 decades Ive been a part of the Crossroads team. I’ve kissed many noses, and patted many heads. My time spent here has truly been the best years of my life. I will cherish every memory -even the difficult ones. Alas, all good things must come to an end. I’m leaving town to be closer to my kids AND new grandbaby. -Crazy cat lady out.

Hurricane tip:
Put pieces of sod in a kiddie pool and put it in your garage. You have a safe place for your dogs to potty during the storm.

Never let dogs off leash into the yard during the storm, dogs get easily spooked during hurricanes and may take off, scaling even a large fence. Also, fences and gates are easily knocked open/over during hurricanes. Keep your pets safe and secured.

*Edited* please do not take your dog outside during the height of the storm. If it's not safe for you to be outside it's not safe for them.

Also, if you are evacuating, please take your animals with you. There are plenty of resources out there to help!

Our 2nd (least) favorite cone!! Looks like next week is iffy folks. NOW is the time for prescription refills/sedatives AND rabies certificates!! Call us, we’ll email them over! PLEASE UPDATE microchip info make sure your phone # is correct! Phones will be down in the event of a serious hurricane -make sure your address is correct also.

NOW is the time to ask for rabies certificates AND to make sure your pets are up to date! Dont forget to Ask for sedative refills AND if need be secure a safe place for your fur babies. WE WILL NOT BOARD DURING STORMS. If its not safe for you its not safe for them.
