Baby Collier
The Rescue!: our founder Susan was driving home and, despite it being not the way she typically took, drove down Collier/951. Shockingly, she saw a kitten in the median and was able to stop about 500 feet past it, and make her way back to the kitten. The little one was totally alone, stuck with three lanes of traffic on each side. We have no idea how baby Collier got there, we even though maybe a large bird dropped her. She’s now safe with us and integrated into our other kitten family, so she has a momma cat caring for her and new siblings, a best case scenario.

We rescued these four kittens from a dangerous situation, they weee hunkered down in a busy construction site. We are working with them diligently to socialize them. The little one on his own in the bottom right photo is a wild child! We have to handle him with oven mitts. Kitten season doesn’t end in south Florida.

We have trapped 22 cats in the last two weeks for TNR or adoption. Many are from the same general area close to where this video was taken, with lots of semi-feral Siamese cats. We are trapping all the kittens and helping by transferring them to larger rescues with wider audiences to get them adopted up fast! Everyone that is too feral to be adopted is being TNR’d to stop the cycle of kittens being born without homes. Please, we HAVE TO cover our vet bill as soon as possible.
