Hey guys! I know it's been a bit! My family went through a pretty rough time there for a bit. I am finally back to working and we have decided my husband will be a sahd for a bit. So when I first started my goal was to trap and try to tame any cat that came into my home so we could rehome them. My goal left me with a massive amount of lovable cats that no one wanted to adopt and also left me with a ton of vet appointments and back and forth which ended up being a lot on me! So now I'm switching things up. I will provide live traps and I will provide the payment to the vet to spay and neuter. But you have to provide the transportation to and from the vet. Once the cat is spayed and neutered they will be returned where you got them. I will not be taking in anymore cats. I know it's a big change and I'm hoping I can still help but I also have to make sure I don't end up with a million cats either. I hope this helps! I have a vet appointment for 2 of my boys November 17th so I will schedule 2-4 spay neuters a month.

Hey guys so I know I posted saying I wasn't taking any cats in but it's really really difficult for me to say no. So I have 4 about 6 week old kittens I took in today needing homes. 3 black girls and a Grey boy. They are sweeties but I'm booked to the brim with still having no income. So if anyone wants to possibly step up and take these babies I would truly appreciate it! They are eating soft food and we flea treated them as well. Obviously while they are with us we will always find a way to get them what they need no matter what! But if anyone wants to possibly donate soft canned food and kitten food and kitten formula I wouldn't turn the help away!

It has been a minute since I have updated. So a week ago I lost my job. Luckily my husband was still working so it wasn't a big deal. Well come Friday my husband lost his job as well. So right now we are NOT taking any more cats in at all. No matter the circumstances. I do have a job lined up but won't start until October 3rd. My husband has an interview on Thursday. But with no income right now we are holding off to make sure we get by. Once we get our income back we will start up again!

Hey guys! So I found out the cats/kittens I have lost was poisoned. I am continuing to help but as of right now I am helping people who I know need and want the help. I can't lose another cat/kitten in my home my heart literally breaks every time I have to bury another baby. They might be ferals and annoyances to some but not everyone feels that way. If your plan is to poison an animal your a sick individual. I'm taking 1 week for myself. I will not be accepting any cats. But starting next week I will start accepting cats again!

Hey guys so I have a really upsetting update. Almost all the cats I have TNR so far have been very young kittens or very young (maybe 4-5 months old) cats. Most have come from Meadowstone apartments. A week ago we had 1 of the kittens pass away. It was a young kitten the vet said most likely was fading kitten syndrome and to keep an eye on the remaining 2 siblings. A few days later I noticed one of the other siblings was not moving but was blinking. My husband got her in the carrier and was rushing to the vet when she passed in route to the vet. The vet said they could do tests on her but it sounded like she may have gotten hurt by one of our bigger cats while playing so we opted out of tests stupidly. Well just 2 days ago the 3rd one became paralyzed was only blinking it was almost midnight so we planned on rusing to an emergency appointment in grand rapids but we seen this prior and we knew we wouldn't make it. These kittens were 100% fine an hour prior to all this taking place running and playing eating etc. Well the last one passed away and we immediately contacted the vet and requested all blood tests and an autopsy to be done. They said by Tuesday we should have results. But as of right now the cats in my home will stay quarantined and will not be leaving and absolutely no cats will be coming in. I say this as I'm sitting here holding another kitten from meadowstone who we found passed away when I got home from work today. These cats are feral so we aren't sure if they all spread something or got I to something at meadowstone etc. But as of now my home is quarantined and I need a rest. Losing thwse sweet babies has been EXTREMELY difficult. I tell myself not to get attached but it's who I am. They all deserve love and I'm praying I gave them enough in the time they were with me. As of right now we need these test results asap bc as far as we know something is spreading and killing these babies and I am praying g we find out and are able to get all the cats into the vet to be vaccinated or meds or whatever to keep them going. So any good prayers our way are much needed.

Hey guys! So I have to make this post for my sanity! I am flooded with messages of ferals and hurt kitties and pregnant babies and Itty bitty newborn babies and 4 week old babies. I am 1 person! I have found homes for 2 kittens and that's because it is family adopting them! I have had the cops called on me for trapping, I have been yelled at and told to leave the cats alone. Between flea treatments and dewormer and soft can food and kitten food and the cost of the spay and neuter for the kitty's it's gotten to be a lot! I am overwhelmed! I have taken in 16 cats and I am also working 6 days a week. I want to help everyone I truly do but it's all financially on my husband and I and so is weighing babies and making sure they get meds on time and 1 cat had a respiratory issue and it spread to other cats so now it's the meds for those! I love doing this but I need to get the ones I have fixed and released before taking anymore on! I hope everyone understands!

Hey guys I have gotten so so many msges and I really don't have a certain time right now to set up trapping. I know there is many strays and ferals needing help and I really can't wait to set up a time to get them trapped and fixed! But with that being said I am working 7 days a week and getting 3 kids ready and around for school. I also currently have 3 adult ferals and 3 kittens needing to get spayed and neutered and another pregnant mama coming to me tomorrow and 5 new babies and mama who will need spayed when she's ready. I am full right now. Vets are setting apps for a good month out. It's not an in and out process so please just be patient with me!! I will absolutely help as soon as possible!

This little girl is one of the kittens from meadowstone apartments. She was petrified when we got her and still is if you move to fast or scare her but otherwise she loves making dough on you and purring! She is looking for an amazing home! If adopted prior to her vet app you have to sign papers stating you will take her to that app.

Hey guys! So I wanted to come on here and say some things and share how I do things. So I just started out doing this. I am a mother of 4 and work 48 hours a week. My husband works 48 hours a week. I work 1st shift my husband 2nd. When I catch ferals I bring them to my home they stay in a huge dog cage I have so I can put dewormer in there food and flea treat them. I watch them for a few days and see if there is any other medical concerns. I call the vet as soon as I can after catching to make an app. Vets are stretched thin so appointments are harder to get then normal. If I can tame the cat while it is with me I will adopt them out. If I can't they will be returned to the place I caught them 2-3 days after they get fixed. I bring them home after there app so if they need pain meds they can receive them and I can make sure they are healing well. I have had so many people bringing attention to where there is bad feral problems and I'm so grateful! With that being said I put any where from $100-$200 a week to the vet for the spay and neuter apps. But if anyone could donate to that fund it would be a massive help as most know it isn't cheap to get cats fixed! Right now I am full I currently have 5 cats 1 who is hugely pregnant. I will always make room for pregnant cats as I believe it is much easier to tame the babies and get them adopted into amazing homes! I also don't currently have the funds to help people with their own personal house cats. I am strictly just ferals and strays right now. I am pretty much an open book so if anyone has questions feel free to ask!

Hey guys so while trapping g yesterday I ended up getting bit and woke up today with a massive finger and extreme pain so today and this weekend I will hold off on trapping to get my finger swelling down. I am absolutely willing to let people borrow traps if they need it! I have trapped 5 cats so far and the 5th one I'd massively pregnant so glad we got her!
