Few people are aware of some special programs we have to help seniors stay in their homes longer. We use ttechnology
So family members can help them with reminders to take medications, alerts they are up and moving around. We did deploy 1 camera that I could see remotely on the APP so I could look in just to keep an eye on them. Help buttons placed at 1 foot off the ground they could get to and summon assistance if they forgot to wear their lanyard to seek help. I used this approach in the later years of my Father and Mother when they were still able to live at home.It definitely prolonged their stay in their home......heck, I even put a sensor on the mailbox to alert my father when the mail had been delivered.
