6 years since I sat in that chair, pregnant and feeling helpless, wondering how on earth I could turn my gift with these remarkable beings we call horses into a career so I could live the dream and play with ponies all day. Thank you for your continuing support. I could never have made it this far without all of you. 🙏🤗🎉

He’s been the love of my life for more than half of his life. We’ve shared 9 winters together as of this month. Year after year Horseware gets us through. 2 minutes after he walked off the trailer into my hands and traded racehorse for riding horse, he had a Rambo swung up over his back to keep him warm and nothing fits him better or has lasted longer. Even in retirement he stays dressed in the best. Stay safe during our snowpocalypse friends. Remember to take care of you so you can take care of them. Send me your snow pics!

Happy Birthday kiddos!!!

My greatest wish for you all is to have your own lifetime partner to walk you out to grassy fields where you can spend your days grazing in the sun and kicking up your heels with friends. Someone to slog through the mud to you or with you when you’ve had enough fresh air and it’s now raining and you’re wearing a hole at the gate because your hay and shavings are waiting for you.

I wish and hope that your greatness is never forgotten while you patiently stand snoozing in cross ties waiting for dinner as tiny 4 year old hands hold the brushes to clean and smooth your soft coat while her mama holds her up to reach your back and the buckles of one of your multitude of blankets jingle as they’re tossed over your back by the pr***en girl standing on a step-stool because she needed to be the one to make sure to keep you warm against the cold wind of the storm blowing outside while you’re tucked in to your Alfalfa for the night but, she isn’t quite tall enough yet to reach over your height.

That your ability to achieve anything your people point you at is never taken for granted and you receive the care and comfort you deserve for the entirety of your lifetime when your body can no longer keep up with your giant heart after you’ve done all the jobs there are to do and seen all the things there are to see.

There will never be another breed greater in my eyes or embedded deeper into my soul. Thank you for the love of a lifetime.

👀 All I’m saying is that I got the no sweat cooler sheet I wanted even though Black Friday in the U.S. wasn’t Black Friday-ing like it needed to be. Horzehoods UK absolutely knocked it out of the park though and I did snag the hood and fullbody lycras I needed, at a fantastic price, to finally replace the ones the mice at my former boarding facility destroyed. But then the best dressed donkey tossed me a vet bill for an abscess that caused swelling up to the knee, as karma, that cancelled out my horse girl math. 😫 Is he still lame? No. Is he ever going to be earning his keep? Also no. But at least he looks good eating all my money. 😭
