East Zone Championships have come to a close. Wow what a whirlwind! My mind is still trying to wrap around the entire experience. The people of working Equitation are just stupendous. I have had such a great time getting to know these folks this year, and I can't wait for those friendships to continue to grow. and I placed as Champions at Level 5. Thank you to our grand judges USAWE Polly Limond (NC) and WAWE judge Fiona Price (UK) y'all did a wonderful job. What a large time we had. I could not have done it without my crew. the spectacular groom extrordinaire, the capturer of photos 📸, for being the actual show mom, I am so happy you got to finally see this in person. for being my rock. And of course the crew back home that also makes this journey possible, feeder of the overhead horses on Hidden Meadows Farm and of course the greatest auntie to the pups Along with our coach on the reg, Lynn Jendrowski , without you, we would not have our progress.
It really does require a village, and I have a great one.

Cinna and I made it home safe and sound in record time from the clinic held at in TN. We are so very grateful for the dedicated folks that made this a true success. As challenging as it is to have plans change literally at the last moment, so many people stepped up to make something great come out of a tough situation.
I am very pleased with the intricate work we did this morning with help from , the obstacle exercises we did with Jodi and , and just absorbing the knowledge from everyone in our large group of riders, auditors, coaches, and of course the facility owners as well. We all had a large time! A shout out to the WE International Committee for orchestrating this event in the first place. It provided us all with the platform to get to know each other and provide the help, knowledge, and guidance that we all wanted out of this in the first place. This sport truly has some of the best camaraderie I have ever experienced in the equine industry.

Today and I worked on quite a few different obstacles for Ease of Handling. We cantered the Pen in both directions for the first time with success with the half piouette in the middle. We also worked on the Drums, Bull Line, Figure 8, double slalom, and the L-shaped bell corridor (at canter) all at 1 hand. We still have so much to work on, but we can't lose sight of how far we have come. It's easy to get caught up on what's next, and what we are still doing wrong, I have to take a moment to recognize how far we have come and respect the process and that it takes a long time. I am so grateful for the folks that taught today. I am honored to get to spend this time with them. Their knowledge is invaluable. 🤞

Cinna and I are all settled in at Three Bulls Farm, in Bulls Gap, TN. This is such a beautiful facility and the owners are always so welcoming. The clinic, as a few of you know, has gotten a little off track with the clinician not being able to make it from Portugal. It was touch and go for a little while, but and I decided to go anyway. There are so many wonderful, talented, and generous folks here that also decided to make a go of it. So when we were handed a bunch of lemons, we are making lemon meringue pie! I really think this is going to be a great clinic after all. We have some of the top riders, trainers, and judges all participating and teaching each other for the next 2 days. I am so excited for this!
