What a fun little gem just outside of town! Head south, down 59/69 passed SugarLand to Needville and 15 minutes off the freeway is “A Place For Dreamers”. A family owned, horse ranch, trail ride, therapy horse, riding lesson, haven of country living. The Groupon AD brought it to my attention. For a 70 minute, 4 Person ride for only $208, WHAT A DEAL!! Note: It’s $150 per person to ride horses on the beach in Galveston. I expected it to be a nice ride and a good experience, but I was blown away by the staff. These gentlemen, all young, were delightful, polite, helpful and kind. This was my youngest’s first trail ride and the guide, Roland was chatty and full of smiles, making sure Ben had a good time and didn’t get nervous. David, was just a personable, and Quincy, although new to the ranch, was a pleasure to ride in front of. He had soft music playing in the background and occasionally sang along quietly, to bring a nice, unexpected element to the ride. We HIGHLY recommend this place for your little ones bday, when friends visit Texas, when you just want to get outta town, heck, ANYTIME really. Something different to do and some amazing memories await you! Be sure to take cash to tip your guides, they will definitely earn it and you will be glad you did. Five stars!!
