Nigel is a Powder Brown Tang and an integral member of our Tang Gang. He loves flying around the reef, darting around constantly grazing on algae. Daisy - Our Yellow Eye Kole Tang is one of our hardest working utilitarian fish. As a Bristletooth Tang Daisy spends the entire day cruising the reef constantly scraping and grazing the algae on the live rock and glass. Beautiful fish with a purpose.

One of my clowns has hosted my basketball-sized euphyillia for several years. Fantastic to see this clownfish behavior without worrying about an anemone moving into a powerhead and nuking my systems. Also, an excellent way to introduce some movement that can be seen from a distance into a reef tank.

RMF Red Devil Nasuta is showing signs of growth other than encrusting and beginning to see some orange polyps. Hopefully, this thing takes off soon as I really dig it. Has not been the fastest grower for me though. That might be due to me moving it several times to find a happy place for it as others say they get pretty good growth out of it. Currently getting about 400+ PAR and really good indirect flow from the left. That might be why most of the growth I am getting is on that side. Also interesting is Abe at Coral Euphoria is getting more of the orangish polyps at around 350 PAR while Adam at Battlecorals is getting more of the red. Not sure the PAR Adam is keeping this at but guessing he is just blasting the thing. Makes me believe that if you want more orange < PAR and Red > PAR. However just an uneducated guess. :)

Abe is a great guy and has both great corals and impeccable quarantine/quality standards and procedures. One of the few vendors we buy from. Again nothing is worse than buying a coral and getting more than just the coral. As a responsible reef keeper you must have the mindset that everything you put in your reef tank could wipe it out. Quality vendors are are the staple of being successful in this hobby!
