Update: kitten was adopted last night, but mama is still looking for a good home. She is litter trained, and loves to snuggle And chill.

These fur babies are in urgent Need to find a home today before the owner leaves for Missouri this evening. Miss tuxedo recently had a litter of kittens and is in need of a check up and to be fixed which Animal Haven will help cover the cost. If anybody could open up their hearts and homes to these sweet babies please reach out to the number provided in the post.

It’s beautiful to see everybody gather and help support what Lee built! 2025 muttzanita is happening by the visitor center in Manzanita starting at 9:30. Come see us and have a great time.

Muttzanita is on its way, and time is running out to put in your vote for our new mayor!

Muttzanita is key in raising funds for our animal rescue, which specifically targets affordable health care for our beloved pets.
Our emergency care request contracts are daily utilized at Nehalem Animal Healing Center for everything from spay and neutering to emergency surgeries. Proper nutrition and available healthcare are detrimental to the quality of life for all living things.

Your participation in Muttzanita can help to touch the lives of so many animals that you will probably never see, but your impact will have a lasting effect in their hearts and mine forever.

Voting will close Sept. 5th at 7 pm at the Farmers Market. The pet with the most votes wins the election. The new mayor will be sworn in on Saturday Sept 6th at 10:10am (prior to the parade), then ride with their human in the lead car of the Pet Parade.

Please reach out if you have any information on this pup. Her person just wants to make sure she is safe and loved. We are told as she was getting adopted, the adoptor gave her to a random stranger. Which has left her foster mom in worry, not knowing where she’ll be or if she’ll have a good life.

Does anyone recognize this beautiful girl? Two collars, but neither have tags, no chip. Wandering loose near sports camp off 53 and McDonald Road. Very social and sweet. If you have any leads please contact number below to help get her home safely.
