Meet Clover 🍀 She is a 8 month old Pembroke. she was returned to us due to another dog in the home playing just a bit rough. Clover is submissive to large breeds and never told the large breed to stop. This became a concern for safety as no one wants her to get smooshed.
Clover is always following you around wagging her tail, yes you read that right, she has a beautiful tail that never stops. She loves toys and most of all snuggles. I take her to bed she settles in right by my chest and goes right to sleep. She is up to date on all vaccines, walks well on a leash and is willing to learn. She’s such a happy sweet snuggly puppy. Pm only for any additional information.

Hey folks. I just got some nasty messages from a “lady” who shares the name Taya. She’s upset with our name choice. I would like everyone to know we name our farm animals with people names. So we apologize to anyone having to share thier name with any of our silly stock.

Guys, this is what I am fu***ng talking about!!!
This right here is the EPITOME of backyard breeder!!!

First of all, the dog on the right is so incredibly mismarked, I’m almost certain she’s a double merle. Which are basically doomed to have ALL kinds of health issues, including deafness and blindness.
The boy on the left was also only about seven months old when she started breeding him. So the second he was old enough to pump babies out for them, they bred him.

Second, they’re breeding specifically for “fluffies.” Why? Because they’re breeding for money. They’re going to charge more for “fluffies.”

Third, an “American corgi” is nothing but a mix between a Pembroke and a cardigan. These are not the same breed. These are not interchangeable. An “American corgi“ is just an intentionally bred mutt. Like a DOODLE. Why are they doing this? Again. MONEY.

“CKC” here stands for “continental kennel club.”
This is not a real kennel club. It is a phony, scam kennel club that backyard readers can “register” their dogs through so they can tell other people that they are “ registered” because it looks good 🙄. “CKC registration” means literally nothing, and is worth about the same.

finally, these people call themselves an “LLC“ I couldn’t tell you one true reputable breeder that markets themselves as an LLC. This is a huge fu***ng red flag to me.

Neither of these dogs even look like a corgi. This trash right here is a sick fu***ng joke.

Now that chick season is in full swing, let's talk about heat sources for new babies.
If brooding in a climate controlled area I always like to use brooder plate or a smaller wattage heat lamp. Flukers make a small heat lamp as well as 75 watt heat bulbs. Chicks don't need the bigger wattage heat lamp if they are in the house or heated or a/c controlled barn or shed.
Now if they are outside in a shed or barn without a/c or heat I suggest the 250 watt heat lamp from tractor supply but not too close or directly on them. Be sure there is an area they can get away from the direct heat.
This time of year can be very tricky as well. Hot during the day and cold at night. This can be an issue because you don't want them to get too hot during the day so you will need to watch them to make sure they aren't too hot. Sometimes depending on Temps you can cut the lamp off during the day but back on at night. I had mine on timers to do this before I insulated and put a split unit in my barn.
Brooder plates can only be used when brooding outside if Temps are pretty warm like summer time. Never try to use a brooder plate outside if Temps are below 60 degrees.
I have an insulated and climate controlled brooder barn. I use brooder plates and 75 watt heat lamps.
I have attached a picture to show diffrences in how the chicks will act when heating is not quit right or there's a draft.
Drafts are not good either. Like under an a/c vent in your house or exposed to areas the wind can blow on them outside.
Hope this helps anybody unsure of how to set up their brooders heat.

Nice days after a load of snow are for rolling in mud and splashing through puddles then laying in the warm sun to dry the muck to our hair. Of course we got a side eye when love bug was questioned about her stinky shenanigans.

Who would be interested in meat chickens?
We will raise them here, we can dispatch them or you are welcome to have your local butcher take care of them.
We will also be experimenting with Cornish game hens. (individual size chickens)

Over the weekend I took Fallon out for some community training. We met lots of wonderful people and the community was extremely supportive. Thank you all so very much.

Y’all I need some ideas💡
I need some “games/challenges”
Think along the lines of survivor ….
Example: Each team/couple needs to follow a map and locate 5 flags n return to the home base
Or each team/ couple needs to solve some sort of puzzle to get to the next task.
Also I would like this to be some sort of farm theme.

I had some fun with my beautiful girls and my camera.
