Meet this handsome fellow named Comet! Comet is joining us for the on/off-leash course. He needs to work on some general manners such as not jumping on people, not pulling on walks, and not being so destructive around the house. That last one typically comes from boredom, so Comet will learn “the art of doing nothing” during his training program to learn how to deal with boredom. We’ll also be doing the other typical things you usually see on this page.

Comet was referred by someone that isn’t on social media so I can’t tag them, but I frequently board their dog so I’ve been able to express my gratitude 😊

Frida needs to work around distractions as we continue her training, so we enjoyed the weather at the park and practiced some heeling, recalls and impulse control.

Training day at the park! Yogi 🐻 got to practice his commands in another exciting environment. We hung out near the playground for some place, sit and down stays, and Yogi held his commands among scooters, running kids, and one kid biting the dust right next to us 🤣

Frida also got to train around Tractor Supply today, and she needs to work on the same sorts of things as Yogi 🐻, so we did similar things in her training session. No jumping on anyone, which was a huge win! She also got to practice some patience with her commands 😊

Training day at Tractor Supply! Yogi 🐻 has needed to work on not jumping on people, and he got ample opportunity to practice that today as the staff loved on him. After that, we practiced all of his training around the store. Since people are really exciting to him, this was a great opportunity to work through that sort of distraction in close quarters.
