Little Willow loves to help out in the barn. She insisted on spreading her own shavings tonight 😂#blmmustang
Dakota working on his pleasure jog today at Frogton Pond Horse Farm
Willow was introduced to gunfire last night as well as Lacey and both girls did incredible. One reason I suggest mustangs to many people is in the video below. Willow has never seen gunfire, never heard it other than off in the distance and this is her very first raw experience with the guns. These mustangs are truly their own breed and as long as you bring them up right they’re as bomb proof as a horse can possibly be. I don’t think Willow will be a mounted shooting horse but I like to desensitize my horses as much as I can!
Lacey was introduced to gunfire last night and took to it right away. Soon we will start shooting off her back!!
Welcome in Buck!
Buck is a 4yr old Appaloosa gelding in for training to be started under saddle with a hopeful future to being a competitive Gymkhana horse. Thank you Nault family for trusting me to start your boy!
Lacey’s first time undersaddle! I’m so proud of this little filly. She’s going to be something special I just know it 💜
Today was a big day for Lacey!
Lacey is a 2yr old quarter horse filly. Miss Lacey was introduced to the saddle today for the first time and she was about as perfect as any 2yr old can be!! I look forward to working with and bonding with this sweet little lady
Yesterday was a busy day for our little mustang. She was ponied off of Dakota and Rio for the first time and later worked on her trailer loading. Now just to haul her to some shows with us and let her be a baby until next year!
Willow has conquered the trailer! So excited to be bringing her to the shows with us for the exposure and to master these trailer skills!!
Willow thinks being stalled at night is pretty cool however she’s not a fan of having her hay in a net. She truly is one of the sweetest and easiest yearlings I’ve worked with!
Willow got her first clip and was about as perfect as any horse can be. Stood for the whole full body clip and was very patient while we worked to get her dander off
Willow had her first farrier appointment today! I’m so happy with how well she behaved and am forever thankful for our patient and gentle farriers!!
