Mango enjoying some mama time with her growing babies. Even when they are bigger, a mother cat will still nurse her litter occasionally if she can.

This helps them with antibodies following their first two vaccination courses. Soon they will be big enough and old enough to go to their new homes but meanwhile, they are still learning from their mother and enjoying home comforts.

Meet the “Fishy Four”:

Mackerel - tabby, boy
Minnow - tortie/torbie, girl
Molly - tuxedo, girl
Marlin - tuxedo, girl

Edit: Marlin is a girl! Not sure how we got that wrong.

This adorable foursome were born on 21st November. They are in London. Their mother, Mango, a sweet torbie girl, was surrendered to our London based co-founder at the end of October. It soon became clear she had four little passengers on board!

We are now starting the process of finding great homes for them. This will involve a home check, so anyone up to an hour from W9 (Maida Vale) or BR3 (Beckenham) will be eligible to apply. Their foster is in town during the week and in Beckenham during the day most weekends.

In a flat with no garden? That’s ok! You can still adopt. We support indoor only to keep the cats and kittens safe, especially with so many busy roads.

They are used to living indoors with other cats as well as a cat friendly dog.

MACKEREL
Mackerel is the biggest of the four, with a stunning fluffy brown mackerel tabby coat. He loves everyone and when not playing, is to be found either snuggling with the adult resident cats, his human foster or his siblings. His favorite place to sleep is under his foster’s chin and he will sleep next to you at night. In fact, he spends most of his downtime on his foster’s bed, cuddling a resident adult cat and waiting for her to come back. He will squeak down the stairwell for attention. He is incredibly cuddly and is what is referred to as a “Velcro kitty”. He will make an amazing companion and because of his strong need for companionship, he probably needs someone who will be home most of the day or another resident cat to cuddle with when you are not home.

MINNOW
Minnow is a very beautiful, unusual kitten. She has the most unique, ridiculously cute face and the softest silkiest fur. Her markings are gorgeous. Her coat is a combination of classic tortie, patches of orange tabby, with small symmetrical white tuxedo markings like two of her siblings and her mother. Her tail is precious - solid tortie with an orange tabby tip for the last few inches! She the smallest of the four, but that doesn’t stop her one bit. She can hold her own just fine in wrestling matches with her siblings. She will probably grow up to be a petite cat like her mother. She is affectionate and sweet and loves to cuddle and play with her siblings, especially the two tuxies. The three of them are usually to be found sleeping in a pile in the afternoon. They will all come upstairs at night to sleep on the bed near their foster mama.

MOLLY
Molly is a classic tuxedo, with completely symmetrical markings, from her little white shirt to her mittens and has a little white tip on her tail. Her fur is very soft, plush and silky and she is almost identical to her sister Marlin. She has a very loud purr motor and likes to “help” you work from home by sitting next to your keyboard and mouse and watching everything you do, and giving you kisses. She and Marlin are quite the double act and we would love to see them adopted together, if possible. She is slightly cheekier and nosier than her sister and she was the first kitten to discover and teach herself how to use the cat wheel. She is its main user, but often Marlin will join in and they both run on it together - quite the feat!

MARLIN
Marlin is a classic tuxedo with an adorable little white triangle on the left of her muzzle. She is almost identical in looks to her sister Molly and since they are almost always together, we would love to see them adopted together, if possible. She is a bit more chill and relaxed than Molly and just as loving. When she is in play mode it’s hard to tell them apart! Like all of this litter (and their mum), she has a lot to say and is quite vocal.

All all else being equal, priority will be given to applications for two kittens in a pair, especially if you work full time and have no other animals in the home, but we will also consider enquiries and applications for them singly.

MANGO
We will also be on the lookout for a loving home for pretty Mango, the kittens’ mother. She’s still very young herself - she was born at the start of August 2023, making her 18 months old. She is super social and affectionate, and quite vocal too! She fits right in with other cats and she adapted to living with a dog without missing a beat.

Each kitten/cat will be fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered before rehoming. An adoption donation in line with what is charged by local rescues will apply.

Mama was SNAP tested negative, so her babies come with a clean bill of health.
