Way to go officer Nelson and K9 Ella. Would like to say great job to Find-M’ Friends raising and training her for suck a great cause love seeing the pups doing what they were breed to do.

Saturday evening 9/2/23, K9 Ella (formerly Bailey) and her partner Officer Nelson Lewis assisted the Elmhurst Illinois Police Department with the location of a Missing/Endangered juvenile who walked away from his family at a park and had been missing for about 5 hours. Officer Lewis responded to the juvenile’s residence and retrieved his baseball cap. The cap was presented to K9 Ella and she began searching. K9 Ella and her partner covered over 1 mile until the juvenile was located safely and in apparent good condition at just after midnight. Although K9 Ella would probably prefer a steak dinner, she was rewarded with lots of praise from those involved in the search, including the juvenile who was located. The Canine team was happy to assist the Elmhurst Police with all of their efforts.

For anyone looking for some great working Bloodhounds Dixie x Rusty pups should be due to drop any day this week. A few are spoken for already, but I’m sure there will be some available.  This is a repeat breeding and the first litter is doing awesome.

Congratulations officer Nelson and K9 Ella

Excellent Job to Officer Nelson and K9 Ella “Bayley” Congratulations!

Last week on June 15, 2023, Cook County Sheriff’s Police K9 Ella “Bayley” & her partner Officer Nelson Lewis responded to a call for assistance from a local police municipality that was searching for three suspects who fled from a stolen vehicle after it became disabled in an alley. This was to be K9 Ella’s first criminal trail. Officer Lewis obtained a scent article and the K9 team began trailing. The team trailed through backyards, streets, and alleys, ultimately leading to an ambulance where the driver of the stolen vehicle was being evaluated after apprehension by the local police. Although all of the suspects were located by other officers, K9 Ella’s trail was a confirmation of their path of travel and final stop before they were caught.

Well looking like about close to 6-29-2023 we should be expecting a 2nd litter of bloodhound pups out of these two really nice dog we have here K9s Dixie x Rusty. If you are interested in a top quality pup please message me for details there is a list already. Both dog are solid working dogs with great temperaments not only do they work out in the field doing what they are supposed to they even have worked on set for tv and are top notch

Today we welcome K-9 Deputy Lincoln to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Lincoln is a one year old bloodhound and will be handled by Deputy Steve Dean Jr.. We’re excited to see Deputy Lincoln work tracking lost or missing persons.

Way to go Sage Vom Holzhaus who got an excellent donation to his handler/team for a gps tracking system. These tools are very important for the handlers not to only know where the dog is but to track to relay the data of what has been covered. All very important in search and rescue.

K9 Sage and Specialty K9 would like to thank Dogs On Duty for their generous donation of the GPS Apha 200i and collar TT15X. This type of equipment is essential for helping to locate the missing. It is utilized by k9 handler teams to monitor and record their area tracks and mark clues. This data represents the area coverage of the k9 team, which can then be analyzed by agencies in planning, during the search and rescue mission.

Young Piper Vom Holzhaus had a great day of training. Was her first time out in a high contaminated area with lot of distractions. She kept her focus and found her guy and got her hot dog 🌭

Well she did it again. Saturday Dixie and I were called out for someone’s missing pet over 24 hours old of a trail. She picked up the trail and took us for a long walk about 2 miles where she gave me a vehicle pickup ID. Needless to say it was the total opposite direction the family thought the dog had gone, but I trusted my dog. With the new information they had they extended their search and contacted me this morning to say that Vinny was picked up like I thought and was returned home safely. The first picture is Vinny home sleeping off his adventure.
