The Dapper Cat is hiring – for the role of Cat Groomer in the Northeast Ohio area.
Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic, caring, and ambitious individual to join The Dapper Cat family. As a Cat Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our feline clients in the comfort of their own home.
Responsibilities:
-Perform a variety of grooming services including baths, blow dries, haircuts, and nail trims.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each cat during the grooming process.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming environment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns.
- Handle cats with care, patience, and gentleness.
- Adhere to The Dapper Cat's standards and procedures for holistic grooming.
- Keep detailed records of grooming services provided and any notable observations about the cats' health or behavior.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cat groomer preferred
- Knowledge of feline behavior and handling techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Passion for animal welfare and a gentle, patient approach to grooming.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home visits.
