Miley, Cyrus and Jenny have all recently been turned into us as strays. These adorable dogs were not claimed and are now available for adoption. Miley and Cyrus must be adopted together. Albus Dumbledore is not a wizard, unless you consider he is a super sweet, gentle, loving cat who just might insist you pet him! Albus was surrendered by his family because they could no longer care for him due to the foreclosure of their home. They deeply cared for Albus so they made sure he ended up in our care. Albus is a little shy, but extremely sweet and he loves attention. He previously lived with another cat, and a dog who chased him☹️Albus is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Hey Mikey ! This cutie is from a litter of black pups rescued from the Amish. Mikey’s foster parent says he is good with other dogs, loves to run and play, walks well on a leash, is house trained and sleeps in his crate all night. We require a fenced yard for puppy mill survivors.

There’s our gal ! Hailey is exceeding expectations in the HOPE Dogs program. No surprise there; she’s smart and easy to train.

Hailey’s primary handler recently had a medical procedure and for the past three days I’ve been taking care of Hailey. The primary handler has done an awesome job with Hailey! She has been an easy transition and adjusted much faster than anticipated. One of Hailey’s best attributes is she LOVES being around and playing with other dogs. One dog named Booker is one of Hailey’s favorites. The way they greet each other is funny, but my favorite is when they’re 15-20 feet from each other, lock eyes, crouch down, stare, and "freeze"... then when one makes a move, it’s play time!!! This stare down is great - sometimes it lasts a few seconds, while other times it can last half a minute!

Thanks to Dorn Electric Inc out of Felton, PA these 2 cuties were rescued and brought to us here at Animal Rescue, Inc. ❤
They climbed up a tree and Dorn Electric was able to come out to the residence and save these babies, now named Elektra (grey/white) and Nikola (white/black). They are here now safe and snuggled!

Trunk or Treat TODAY 12 TO 3 at Marge Goodfellow Park, New Freedom PA! Trunk or treat with local vendors, join in our costume contests, take a chance in our basket raffle, capture memories with our fall photo booth and "paint" pumpkins, too!
