Hi guys!
All is well and peaceful on the farm this morning.
Just wanted to say a huge thanks for working with me yesterday to come up with plan for our horses in the event that the wild fire reached us.
I’m so glad we didn’t have to put it into effect but knowing we can all come together for every animal here in case of such an unexpected emergency puts my mind at ease!
Yesterday also showed me just how amazing our equine community is in a time of unexpected need.
HME is truly one of a kind barn family and I’m so so thankful for every single one of you!

First show of the season is well in the book for my team!
8 horses, 2 trailers, 9 riders, the best assistant trainer a head trainer could ask for, and of course, an overwhelming amount of support and love from our friends and family to make the day whole.
Couldn’t be more proud of these girls and our horses.
On to the next!

Spartan Boy
“Troy” is a 16h, thick bodied and still growing, 3 turning 4 year old Thoroughbred Gelding.
Troy has just let down from an uneventful and very short racing career.
Retiring sound and slow, his breeder/owner asked me to find him a suitable home for his next career.

Troy has everything you should be looking for in an OTTB restart. He is very well bred, an EASY KEEPER, will live outside or in a stall. He currently has front shoes but can go barefoot. Troy is quiet to handle and work around but has shown us he has a bold side in the pasture and the 2 rides he’s had since coming to the farm. Troy shows promise in his presence, conformation and movement to be a true upper level sport horse for fox hunting, eventing, show jumping or dressage.

Troy is RRP eligible and could go in any direction with a purpose.
Mid 4s but special situations considered.
Our priority is getting this young horse into a qualified home for the start of his next career.
