Reminder - Our Halloween Event is happening TOMORROW at Paisley Park in Houma! Join us for animals, candy, games, and halloween FUN! Entry is $5/kid.

We will have some of our fan-favorite snakes, tortoises, lizards, turtles, and MORE available to meet, touch, and learn about! 🐢🦎🐍

There will also be a photographer on-site offering Halloween Minis for $10/photo! So dress those kiddos up, come meet some creatures, and get your halloween pictures taken while you're at it!

We've had a lot of excitement in the last couple of weeks! During the Gonzales show this beautiful clutch hatched. Their father is an animal we got a hold of with no history, we had ideas of what his genetics were, but couldn't be sure. We proved out a couple of variables but there were a couple of big surprises. In order to answer questions and prove things out we decided to pair him again. The first two pictures are his children, then a picture of him (Barry), and then one of their mother (Kalliope). The Last picture is Barry and his current partner Linda, who took an instant liking to him. We got a confirmed lock so far and will be repairing them tomorrow. Very excited to see how things pan out. By the time we get eggs from Linda some of Barry's first children will be available, some we will be holding back to at least confirm their combination.

All but one out of our latest clutch, we got more questions than answers out of this pairing, but we'll take it 😅 last guy was peeking out of the egg when we left for the show so I'm anxious to see what it is when we get back!

Our first hognose clutch is hatching!!! There's 1 superconda so far, the other ones havent come out enough to see what exactly they are. This very humble clutch has been 5 years in the making, I finally got the courage to pair this year and now have the confidence needed to do this again with our newer girls when they're ready.

We're getting ready for the HERPS show this weekend!! Come visit us in Slidell this weekend, we're going to have some exciting stuff we don't usually have this time!

The LARGEST Reptile and Exotic Pet show in Louisiana is coming back to The Harbor Center in Slidell July 20th and 21st! Buy or browse thousands of reptiles, amphibians, inverts, feeders, supplies, and more in this two-day event. Check out our educational section for a hands on experience with some of the most exotic reptiles and animals on the planet. This is a HOT show as well, and a select number of vendors will have venomous for sale. Concessions will be available both days so make a weekend out of it! DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

Our first hognose eggs! Pairing was albino anaconda x anaconda, now we just wait nervously for the next 60 days 😅
