We would like to introduce our baby MULESTANG, Button❤️
His mother was seized by the BLM from a starvation case and then changed hands about four different times.

Somewhere down the line, she had a baby and here he is! He was just weaned a week ago and still has a lot to learn.

Thank you Andrea Schwarting Reed for teaching him how to lead! Made it a lot easier to haul him home. We would love to teach him that humans are wonderful😊

Thank you Black Crow Mustangs for inviting us to attend the Leslie Desmond clinic at Justin stables.

The clinic was helpful and informative, and of course, the kids had fun seeing the babies!

The team had a great week at CHJA Finals & Fairfield County Horse Show!!

Starting us off in the CHJA results we have..

Alessandra Song & Susan Dantzig’s Gavi di Gavi
•10th place CHJA Adult 3’ Hunter Classic
•Reserve Champion in the CHJA Adult 3’ Medal out of 22 competitors
We wish her the best of luck as she returns to college! 🩵

Sierra Johnson & Clifton Z 🦄
•4th out of 44 in the CHJA 2’6 Hunter Classic.
•7th out of 44 in the CHJA Children’s 2’6 Medal

Olivia Sousa & Oxford 🐮
•11th out of 44 in the CHJA Children’s 2’6 Medal

Isobel Boettcher & What The Flip 😝
•6th out of 37 in the Children’s 3’ Hunter Classic

Moving on to the Fairfield Show..

Amy Heppolette & Silvestra’s Sterling Silver made their horse show debut together with a clean sweep of blues to finish Champion in the Short Stirrup Hunters out of a big group 🏆

Alessandra Song & Gavi de Gavi rode to great ribbons in the Adult Amateur Hunters, including an 8th in the Classic 🏅

Sierra Johnson & Clifton Z were on fire in the Children’s 2’6 Equitation, taking first on the flat and taking Champion out of a field of 38 🔥

Olivia Sousa & Oxford also had great ribbons in the Children’s 2’6 Equitation, finishing 2nd on the flat 🥈 They also had a 2nd place finish in the Bit O Straw 💪🏻

What a week! So incredibly proud of these riders on their accomplishments. Thank you to our team at home for keeping everything going, the parents for being super supportive, and our horses for being the best partners. Next up: Marshall & Sterling Finals 🔜

Team LCS had a great week at HITS on the Hudson!

Katie started the week off with solid rides in the professional divisions including ribbons with Clifton Z & Dos Lunas Detroit in the USHJA 3’ Hunters ⭐️

🏆 Kate Weston & Triple Axel jumped to Champion in the Thoroughbred Hunter 1 Division

🏆 Sierra Johnson & Clifton Z put in some beautiful rounds, earning Champion in the Modified Children’s Hunter. They also were..
🥉 M&S Novice Children’s Hunter Classic with an 82
🥉$250 Bit O Straw Hunter Classic

🏆 Evelyn Stewart & Enchanted made their HITS debut in the Short Stirrup Equitation and rode to Reserve Champion out of a big field

🏆 Katie & Sephora had a great show and achieved Champion in the USHJA 2’ Hunter.

Alessandra Song & Susan Dantzig’s Gavi de Gavi had some great rounds in the Adult Equitation 18-35, and just missed the ribbons in the USHJA 3’ JR/AM Derby 🦄

Isobel Boettcher & What The Flip had top ribbons in the Mini Medal, Mini Maclay, and Mini HITS and played in the USHJA 3’ JR/AM Derby as well 🦄

Olivia Sousa & Oxford had a great show, placing out of 20 in the Low Childrens Hunters, as well as finishing 6th in the M&S Novice Children’s Hunter Classic and 8th in $250 Bit O Straw Hunter Classic ⭐️

Very proud of all our horses and riders on a great week! Thank you to Katie & Di for organizing such a successful show, Norvin for all his help with the horses, and to our team at home for keeping it all going smoothly. Truly takes a village and we are so grateful 🦄🤍😊

The Lucky C crew had a great day at Gardnertown Farm!

Sierra Wiser rode Paddy in the 2’ Child Equitation, and was 2, 3, 3 with some nice trips ⭐️

Molly Muth and Molly made their debut in the Pleasure division and rode to Reserve Champion 🏆

Terri Van Etten and Ichabod came out and rocked the Low Hunters, with some podium finishes including a 2nd in the under saddle 🥈

Kate and Triple Axel left it all out there and finished Reserve Champion in the 2’6 Adult Equitation 🏆

And lastly, our trainer Katie took our new horse Dos Lunas Detroit out and they rode to Champion in the High Hunters ✨

We had a wonderful week at Vermont Summer Festival. The riders and horses were fabulous and everyone stepped up to the challenge. The laughter and team work was endless. Some highlighted results were as follows:
*Amy and Enchanted - Reserve Champion Short Stirrup Hunter and great ribbons in the Eq
*Isobel and Enchanted - Champion Schooling Hunter Ponies
*Kate and Triple Axel - Reserve Champion in the 2’9” Adult Equitation
*Sierra and Clifton Z- 3rd 2’6” Bit O Straw Derby, 2nd Hunter Classic
*Olivia and Oxford - Champion Children’s Modified Hunters, 1st Hunter Classic
*Isobel and What the Flip - Tied for Reserve 3’ Children’s Hunter, win all three Mini Equitation classes and pinned well in 3’3” Equitation classes.
A special thank you to Ashley Miller for her great braiding, grooming and care of the horses.
Thank you to all the great expertise of our training staff to prepare the horses and riders. We are now looking forward to our busy show season and next A show.

We are a little over half way through our Vermont Summer Festival adventure week and are having a fabulous time. The horses and riders are amazing. Today was our first day of divisions and it prove very exciting….
Isobel and Ella were Champion in the schooling ponies
Olivia and Mooney were Champion in the Modified Children’s Hunters. They also won the Hunter Classic and Sierra and her new horse Cliff were second in the Hunter Classic. Kate, with her debut week at Vermont was Reserve Champion in the 2’9” Adult Eq division. What an amazing day. Thank you to Ashley for her beautiful braids and grooming. Everyone has pitched in and it has made for a wonderful week so far. We are all looking forward to the weekend 🐎Come visit in Tent F. We love a cheering section.
