This time of year rawhide is popular to buy as a Christmas present for dogs. After all, they come in such cute shapes and packages what could be so bad? Please NEVER purchase rawhide for your dogs. It is not digestible and is made with terrible ingredients. We usually recommend pig ears, bully sticks, beef cheek rolls (but watch where they are made and the ingredient list), or Himalayan yak chews (unless your dog is a powerful chewer). Any treat should not be given unless you are supervising your dog.

Our after Thanksgiving tradition of cutting Christmas trees. This year, we took all three of our dogs, and they had a ball. Belle got to wear a blanket to keep her warm. She doesn't have a thick coat like the other two.

Puppies had their 6 week vet appointment today. They are all healthy.

5 weeks old and rambunctious. The puppies got to play with Dixie today and loved it. Let me know if you need a fluffy ball of cuteness. Ready to go December 5th

Sunday, we were able to have a play date with Dixie, Honey, and Ranger. The three of them had so much fun running and playing in the river. We even brought Milly so we could have a family picture. I love seeing how our puppies turn out and seeing how happy they make their new families.

Four weeks old now

Our puppies are born in the house and live inside for the first few weeks. Last week, we transitioned them to living outside in this cozy building. They have heat lamps if they get cold and warm dry bedding. Belle spends about half the day and all night in with them.

It's hard to believe the sweet puppies are one week old. Momma Belle can't wait for them to be old enough to play with. She keeps bringing them toys.

Last night was puppy time. Belle had 11 puppies! There are 6 boys and 5 girls. We are all still trying to figure out where she was hiding them all. Belle is more of an athletic build than Milly, and she didn't really look pregnant.

Dixie from our last litter would like to play with some of her siblings. Would anyone be interested in a play date? Hard to believe these puppies will be a year old on Halloween.

Sweet Belle is awaiting her pup's arrival. She is due on Tuesday, so we got all set up today.
