Are you ready for a 2023 recap?!
Here are our accomplishments for 2023!!
Rescued: 41 senior dogs
Adopted: 23
Forever Fosters: 9
Sent to Heaven: 11
In total we cared for 70 senior dogs in 2023.
By the end of 2023 Farm Of Hope was home to 19 chickens, 6 ducks, 6 goats and 3 donkeys.
Total Revenue: $595,346 or $49,600/m
Total Expense: $587,033 or $48,900/m
Expenses broken down into Programs, Administrative and Fundraising expense totals; Programs: 93%, Admin: 3.9%, Fundraising: 3.1%.
We spent a total of $86,923 on veterinary expenses.
Personnel include: 1 Executive Director, 1 Sanctuary Manager, 1 Thrift store Manager, 1 part-time TS Emp, 2 full-time ACT (animal caretaker), 3 part-time ACT and approximately 80 active volunteers. (33 at the Sanctuary and 47 at the thrift store)
Amazon Angels donated over $7000 in supplies. We spent $11,300 on dog food.
We celebrated 4 major fundraising events:
AzGives Day: $32,700
Open House: $8790
Sunday Funday: $78,686
Giving Tuesday: $8244
Our last and I think most amazing numbers are what our little thrift store was able to do for our Sanctuary…
Total Income for Rusty’s Resale: $181,747
Total expense: $88,411
Profit that went back to our senior dogs: $93,336!!!! That’s around $7,778 per month. An increase of almost $5,500 per month from 2022. Thank you to all who volunteered, donated and shopped.
