Taco is easy going and an easy point and kick kinda horse. Incredibly soft mouthed (rides in a loose offset D-ring) and will do whatever you ask. Has pushed/sorted cattle and been roped off of. Even been used to check fences, crossed creeks, even been down numerous trails. Even had reining training! Music doesn't bother this horse whatsoever. We were riding in this video beside speakers blaring in the arena and you can see he doesn't care one bit. He's the best all around horse you can ask for. Even tried him on barrels and he did great.

Here at JR MK Barrel Horses we always fool and work with the young ones to get them nice and broke before doing any barrel work with them. We always work with them, like patience, tying, picking up feet, saddling, and bitting. We do the basics before anything else.

It's hard to get pictures of what I do since I do this mostly by myself, but here's some to show what all I do here! Hopefully I'll actually be able to video this "fun" training process 🤠

Buck is another one we have sold and trained!

He's doing fantastic and racing here with us locally with Haley Horton! We love seeing him almost every weekend! 😍❤️

We have also taken in her horse Boots for barrel training here a few months back, and he's doing great as well! Look at these three go! ❤️
