Happy 1st birthday to WayLynn and Bleu's puppies. 7-14-24
Took the pups (Zena and Eddie) as big kids to the cabin for the 1st time. Red and Wilbur went to boarding for their first time. Since the cabin is in a pretty quiet area and quiet with traffic, Zena was able to be on a training collar for the 1st time ever. She did amazing, wasn't challenging. She went exploring one time off property and that's when we're were packing up.
Eddie did awesome. He stayed on a leash. The beeping freaks him out and the vibrating on the training collar puts him into seizures, so he can not use them. If he got away, just fill the water bowl up, that's where you'd find and catch up with him. So we will put a rope on a log so he can pull that for a little more freedom. Running for him has to be kept to a minimum.
I haven't give up hope ... we are still looking for a home for Red! He is an energetic boy whom loves attention and singing. He will definitely let you know when someone is at your house.
He knows sit and shake. We are working on leash and walking. He does very well with a prong collar.
He is up to date on all vaccines. He is an in tact male. Born July 14 2023
If you know of a loving, furever home. I'd love to meet you and chat. Unfortunately, he is not free. Serious inquiries only.
Hasn't anyone told Zena, Mom finds out everything?🤣
We often get asked about having alot of dog hair in the house with 6 siberians.
We don't have anymore than 1 or 2 dogs.
Air hose from the shop is pretty handy.
Eddie is working hard on learning how to walk up steps. He is back hips/legs are not strong enough to do steps and is very scared of them. Lots of help is currently needed.
Eddie Update ... our sweet boy. If you recall from previous posts, he had pneumonia at a week old. Now at roughly 20 weeks, you can hear he is a heavy breather and he also snores loudly. The head tilt is still there, more noticeable at times, but he is just the happiest little dude ever. Eddie has taken a lot longer to catch onto commands. He has "kennel" and finally "potty" down. But he is just so quick that he has accidents. Eddie enjoys being outside. He spends most of his time on our deck. Eddie tries really hard to wrestle with Zena, but you can briefly see he is unsteady when he gets excited. He isn't able to walk steps. His brain just doesn't work like that quite yet. Our Eddie has stolen the heart of our whole family. We find ourselves sitting on the floor often giving him love. For all the things Eddie can't do, what he can do is outweighs it all. He can give us a smile and love.
Enjoy a snip bit of Eddie and Zena
