Wow, this wedding was really a day to remember. So, Emily, our beautiful bride, bought the dresses for her bridesmaids herself — she chose a specific print to match the wedding theme.

Now, just picture this. The wedding's in full swing, we're all having a blast, dancing and celebrating, when Emily gathers us bridesmaids around and drops this bombshell: "Ladies, each of your dresses cost $1,200. I'll need you all to reimburse me. How would you like to handle it? Cash or transfer?"

When my husband passed away, I moved in with my daughter's family at sixty, looking after my three grandkids. My daughter and her husband have demanding jobs, so I help by picking up the kids from school, taking them to activities, and cooking dinner.

We live in a cozy subdivision with only 60 properties, which means everyone knows each other quite well. My daughter's family owns two pieces of land: their home and an empty lot next door.

Gardening has always been my passion, and my daughter and her husband generously gave me carte blanche over the empty lot. I poured my heart into it, growing vegetables and fruits, and sharing the bounty with neighbors.

But one day, I noticed my harvest shrinking. Tomatoes that were there a week ago were gone. I was cleaning out our junk drawer, the one with all the random stuff, and I found my husband’s old high school phone. I thought it was broken, but I was curious, so I charged it up, and to my surprise, it turned on.

Expecting to find some embarrassing old pics of him, I opened the gallery. Instead, in almost every other photo, there was a blonde teenage girl who looked exactly like our nanny, the one my husband hired a few months ago to help me.

Arriving at the camp, Lucy ran to the officer. "Where's my son? Why have you returned without him?"

Are you the mother? I'm sorry, ma'am, but we haven't found your son yet," the police officer said, making a placating gesture. "It's getting too dark to keep searching now, but—"

"DON'T YOU DARE! You can't just leave my son out there overnight!" Lucy grabbed the front of the officer's fluorescent jacket. "You have to keep looking. He could be hurt!"

"Please try to calm down, ma'am. We're following standard procedure and have done everything we can."

It was very dark beneath the trees. If nobody else would search for her son then Patrick's safety depended on her. She turned on her flashlight and set off along a narrow path through the trees.

MY NEIGHBOR REFUSED TO STOP HER KIDS FROM SPRAYING WATER GUNS OVER MY FENCE – I GAVE HER A TASTE OF HER OWN MEDICINE.

So last November, my boyfriend and I moved into our new place. Our neighbor, Sarah, a single mom with two boys, was initially super welcoming. Fast forward to a few weekends ago, we were chilling in our garden on a sunny day. I had to pick a groom up from the airport. I wasn't exactly thrilled about this assignment, but hey, I couldn't say no.

Little did I know, this guy was going to be a royal jerk.

He shoved a flight attendant because she was blocking his way. Do you think he apologized? Nope, nada! It was like he thought he was better than everyone else.

Then came the worst part — he treated me like garbage, throwing his bags at me. I was tempted to tell him to shove it... but I kept my cool.

On the way, he told me I was NOBODY, mocked me for working JUST as a driver at my age (I'm 56).

I kept my mouth shut. I didn't want to ruin this day... for several very interesting reasons.

When we finally arrived at his destination, the bride ran into his arms. I smiled because, for a second, I thought maybe I had misjudged him.

But nope, the jerk was still a jerk.

He couldn't wait to meet her parents, so I led him to the waiting area where the bride's mother waited. I approached her, wrapped my arms around her waist, and extended my hand to him.

MY CHILDREN ARE ALWAYS SICK AFTER VISITING GRANDMA'S—MY ANGER KNEW NO BOUNDS WHEN I FOUND OUT WHY

EVERY TIME we sent our kids to my mother-in-law's place, they came back sick. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Runny noses, colds, bronchitis – it became the norm after a trip to grandma's, even though they hardly ever got sick otherwise.

This time, we sent them over for a break again. I dropped them off and headed back to town. But halfway there, I realized I forgot to give them a bag with their stuff that was still in the car. So, I had to drive an hour back to my mother-in-law's house.

I parked and went inside, but what I saw FREAKED ME OUT! At that moment, I understood why my kids always got sick while staying with grandma.

I (18M) have a harsh backache. So, I got a part-time job to earn money for a new bed and mattress. I can't ask my parents as they prioritize my younger half-sister (16F) and their foster kids (11 and 10) over me, and their money and time get prioritized by them.

I RETURNED HOME FROM A BUSINESS TRIP TO FIND A NEWBORN BABY ON THE TABLE WITH TWO NOTES BESIDE

I hadn't been home for four months. I work on an oil pipeline in Alaska, so this routine is familiar. I travel back and forth... And now, here I am, standing on the doorstep of my house, anticipating seeing my beautiful wife. But to my surprise, the house is empty.

I called out for Lisa again, but all I heard in response was a loud cry! I rushed into the kitchen and was stunned. There was a bassinet with a baby inside on the table... Twist? We didn't have any children.

OUR NEIGHBORS SET US UP IN FRONT OF OUR LANDLORD TO MOVE INTO OUR HOME - WE GAVE THEM WHAT THEY WANTED.

Ever since our new neighbors moved into their house (we have the same landlord), they constantly snooped around our property. Once, I even caught them peeking into our windows and decided to finally confront them:

Me: "Hi, neighbors!"
Them: "Oh, boy, you scared us!"
Me: "So, do you like the house?"
Them: "Oh, a lot! Maybe you'd like to switch houses?"

I laughed. They had a super dark house while we changed the driveway, grew an amazing garden, and bought a whirlpool bath.

Me: "We put much effort into this one, and we love it, so no."

They left irritated, and a week later, our landlord asked us to leave the house in the next 7 days. The neighbors complained about constant noise (they used a video from my birthday) and an odor from our garden. I was fuming!

But my husband said, "Don't cry, hon, I've got a plan!"

When we were moving out, the neighbors were already packing their stuff to move in with huge GRINS on their faces. But only 5 days later, they called us YELLING ⬇️
