Good place to take your dog to travel near NYC--Cold Spring
Very chili small town and it is very dog friendly. Basically you can see 1/2 people have their dog with them. This town is also very beautiful. Nice place for both you and your dog to enjoy your weekend!

step 2: buy the ticket. The ticket I bought for my dog from NYC to BOS is only $26! Way cheap then the airplane dog ticket

Hiking recommendation in NYC for taking your dog to hike~

This place is sooooo pretty that it contains 4-5 hiking trail. The landscape in the park is very very enjoyable that where ever you go, the views are amazing!

Super recommended for taking your dog during the weekend, and just for have a relax journey with your little paw friend~

Pet Shop Guide for Buying Dogs in New York 2.0

🐶[Shops owned by Korean]
These shops sell dogs imported from Korea. If you like the Korean breed of dogs and don't want to go through the hassle of contacting breeders on Instagram, you can try this type of store. It's actually like a middleman, so the prices are relatively high. But if you can accept their prices, you can go check it out!

🐕[Chinese-Owned Shop]
These shops are mostly located in Flushing. Although there are various pet stores in Flushing, the only one I know is the store where I bought my dog - Empire Puppies. It's owned by a Taiwanese person, so they don't have WeChat, but you can find their official website on Google Maps haha.

Low prices: they're about half the price of pet stores in Manhattan.
Dogs are generally healthy: I think it's because the dogs they can't sell have grown up in the store. Look at the second and third pictures, these dogs are huge haha.

The dogs are not very good-looking. I don't know if it's because of the owner's taste or the source of their dogs, but compared to Manhattan, their dogs are not as cute and delicate-looking. Instead, they seem to have a mature and rough look, haha.
They don't update their stock frequently, probably because of poor business haha.
They don't have WeChat, and you can only view their website. I also have to criticize their website because the owner likes to use beauty filters on the dog's photos, so the pictures on their website are not only filtered but also blurry and hard to see.

Plus, if you pay in cash, you can negotiate the price and potentially save on taxes.

Here are a few different types of pet stores in New York to consider:

1️⃣The first kind is American owned pet store in Manhattan. And in this post I will be introducing the most popular one--citipups.

✅Advantages: a wide variety of popular dog breeds to choose from. If you don't see what you're looking for, you can let the owner know and they can try to get that breed for you. They also receive new dogs every Friday, so there are always plenty of options. In addition, they have a play area where you can get to know the puppies and their personalities. Plus, they're currently offering discounts due to the new law.

‼️Downsides :The dogs from Citipup are more likely to have health problems, as they come from puppy mills which aren't known for breeding healthy dogs. Additionally, because the puppies are handled by many customers, their immune systems may be weakened and they could get sick. Also, their contract is not as comprehensive as it may seem. Although it promises to treat certain illnesses, there are many exclusions that are not covered.
