🎋 It's Cinco De Mayo friends! Here's a quick DIY icey treat to spoil your pup with!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🥣 Ingredients:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• 1/2 Cup of pumpkin puree (NOT PUMPKIN PIE MIX)
• 1/2 Cup of plain nonfat yogurt
• 1/2 Cup of plain oats
• Dog shaped silicone molds from Amazon ($10)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
📝 Steps:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Blend all ingredients together, if the mix comes out too thick add a little water to loosen it.
2️⃣ Pour the mix into the silicone mold.
Refrigerate for 24 hours
3️⃣ Give tasty treat to your pup!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⚠️ Warning: Some pups' stomachs don't take too well to dairy products. So if you find your pup pooping a lot after, swap out the yogurt for water!

Did you know that Apples are an excellent source of vitamins A and C, as well as fiber for your dog. They are low in protein and fat, making them the perfect snack for dogs of all ages!

🥲 Tomorrow will be the last day our cafe is hosted in Wisconsin (for now!) we're heading to New York to take ground⁣

Happy 414 Milwaukee dayyyyyyy 😬. Though Bailey's furr Pup Cafe originated in New York, Milwaukee has adopted and welcomed us as our own 🫂.

Sadly 🥲in a few weeks, we'll be heading back to New York to take root and build this Pup cafe out! (Hello, Not Goodbye!)

We pioneered to Milwaukee January of last year, taking a huge leap of faith not knowing what was in stored. During this time we've gained so much community, exposure, wisdom, and straight-up love. Milwaukee allowed us to step outside our comfort zone and even develop our culture.

🟣 Working with purple cabbage has brought so much life and color to our NY Style Beef & Broccoli meal!

Purple cabbage aids in digestion, and is good for the skin, but can also cause gas 😶‍🌫️ so be sure to feed in moderation like chopping it up and mixing with furr baby's food!

The Dog mom in me is always geeked to try different recipes that will keep my furr baby, nieces, nephews, and the sort happy (even when they're naughty 😫).⁣

I got these dog-shaped silicone molds from Amazon for about $10. I blended Pumpkin, Yogurt, Cinnamon, and Oats, froze them in this mold overnight, and wah-la doggy icy treats.⁣

☕️ Before there was Bailey's furr Pup Cafe there was Bailey's furr. ⁣
⁣
🥕 I started Bailey's furr as a testimony of how a fresh food diet transformed the furr and overall lifestyle of my Baileykins (Bailey, 6-year-old Yorkie-poo).⁣
⁣
Two years ago, out of the blue, the furr on Bailey's tail started balding, leaving a dry and scaly patch. After panicking and adding aloe vera to the spot, the patch healed but I knew there was an internal problem.⁣
⁣
📝 After much research and vet visits, I discovered (and still discovering) the blessings of a fresh food diet, and the empowerment you get from taking good care of your dog.⁣
⁣
👩🏾‍🍳 This led me to create over 50 variety of balanced and tasty fresh food recipes, start a cafe serving gourmet dog food and goodies palatable for our cafe guests (the pups), and empower dog parents with the tools and service they need to provide an overall well-being lifestyle for their dogs. ⁣
⁣
Now, transitioning to Bailey's furr Pup Cafe, it's a hello, not goodbye. Bailey's furr told a story about the power a fresh food diet has on a dog's health, but Bailey's furr Pup cafe will tell the story of the impact and the ⁣
power of community, collaboration, purpose, and innovation. ⁣
⁣
