Welcome to SHVESTER! Offering warm and loving short- and long-term care for your pet. Primarily serving the greater Newburgh NY area (City and Town of Newburgh, Balmville, Cornwal, New Windsor, Beacon) but available for long-term stays anywhere in the Mid-Hudson Valley.
WHO WE ARE
Elka and her team are experienced pet sitters and current/former pet owners, so you can trust that we will care for your fur babies like our own.
WHAT WE DO
We recognize that every animal is different, so we tailor our care plans for each creature. We offer walks, play time, cuddle time, and sleepovers either at your home or ours.
SERVICES AND RATES
Our flat fee for a single walk (approximately 20 minutes) is $20, but we offer worthwhile discounts for dogs who need more consistent support and whose owners are interested in a regular walk plan.
Sleepovers start at $50 per 24-hour period. For dogs (and cats who venture outdoors!) this of course includes feeding and three daily walks - morning, afternoon, and evening - for one pet. Please note: sleepovers hosted by SHVESTER cost a little bit more than sleepovers hosted by pet owners. This is in order to cover any unexpected cleaning or damages. For overnights, we're open to clients anywhere in the Hudson Valley Region! Orange, Ulster, Dutchess and beyond.
Our rate for extended play time or cuddle time while you're out and about during the day is $30/hour.
For clients outside the City of Newburgh and Balmville, to cover gas and travel time, we charge $5 for every 5 miles we'd need to travel to get to you.
