On our business anniversary earlier last month, I mentioned that I would love to share more resources and personal notes this coming season to give back to this community. We will be posting the of how we create our toys + other products, other resources + and also on the $$ side of things later on too, but let’s start from the beginning!

As a parent myself, I understand the delicate balance between nurturing dreams and facing the daily hustle. It’s easy to put your aspirations on hold, waiting for the “perfect” moment to start your project. But let me tell you—it doesn’t exist. Just embrace the messiness of the process. Are these the things that keep you from just trying?

🛋️ COMFORT
Feeling great doesn’t always come easily. Learning something new as an adult can be challenging, and having tough conversations may be uncomfortable in the moment. However, that actually won’t change much! After 4 years in business, I have to say I am still learning as much as the first year. The market changes, the trend shifts and there are always new tools. So don’t let that get in your way!

💯 PERFECTION
Perfection is an illusion—no one is perfect (except our dogs), and you don’t need to be. Your unique blend of imperfections and experiences defines who you are. Embrace your individuality and be aware of your weaknesses. Seek help when needed. From my experience, people are often more generous and supportive than you might think. When I started the shop, I got at least a handful of friends who are helping me with things I suck at. I couldn’t have done it on my own.
