>> Swiss Chard is basically beet with fat, juicy stems and big leaves instead of channeling most of its energy into big roots like beet.
>> It was originally grown mainly for its crunchy stem rather than its leaves 🥬

Beets are believed to originate along the coasts of the Mediterranean and were first cultivated for their edible leaves.

Beet is a plant. The root and leaves are used as medicine. Beet root and leaves are also eaten as a vegetable, they are normally consumed raw, cooked, pickled or in juices.

Our beautiful Bulls Blood Beet ready to be harvested. The reason why we harvest them at this point is because if we wait for the true-leaves to appear, the texture will change. Leaves will get a little tougher to chew since they’re getting prepared to support more weight as a mature plant. These are fun to look at and to eat. They have a sweet, fresh, earthy flavor ❤️💜

Knowing where your food comes from, who produced it, when was it harvested etc. Here you have our Speckled Peas before and after harvesting and in less than 24 hours you can get them at the Lincoln Market🌿🤍

Long transportation times, and temperature changes while transporting produce from other states or countries lowers the nutritional value. By comparison, local food is healthier because it’s only transported short distances and isn’t exposed to chemicals, gasses or waxes used to preserve food for long-distance transport.

Our seeds germinate and grow in blackout, as a metaphor in life many of us also grow stringer and better during hard times. 2020 wasn’t easy for anyone, Reseedlience was one of those seeds that bloomed in such an unstable moment. Radish Microgreens
How do they taste? Exactly like a Radish Bulb and a bit more peppery
Why not eat a bulb instead? Radish Microgreens have a extremely higher concentration of vitamins C, E, potassium and Beta carotene

Most people would say opening a small business born in the midst of possibly the most politically controversial yr + a pandemic is a “major risk”.

Guess what? They’re right. But, with this queen right here, everything is possible.

Her work ethic and her dreams won’t let her rest. She does everything with an admirable grace. I’m thankful and happy to call her my partner in business and in love.

Here she is while we were traveling back from Puerto Rico back to NY. She won’t stop plotting, organizing and planning towards the future.

Reseedlience is planning big things for 2021 and on. Keep your eyes and ears open.

It is really easy to implement microgreens into your normal diet. By just adding a handful of your favorite micros to at least 1 meal a day your body is absorbing many vitamins and nutrients. Some of these are Vit A, B, C, E, potassium, betacarotene, magnesium, among others. 💛🌿

Many people ask us for our microgreens shelf life. The answer is they last up to 2 weeks in optimal conditions if stored properly. 🌱

*It is important to keep them refrigerated
*To avoid condensation you can add a paper towel to absorb humidity
*Keep your fridge around 40F degrees
