We’re celebrating a very special birthday, our boy Charlie is turning 7! 🥳 With his battle with cancer, and most recently a wicked case of pneumonia, we didn’t even know if we’d celebrate this birthday ❤️

Our friends from @ elevatepet sent us a special goodie box and Charlie is giving his honest review 🐾
They have natural, high quality treats and food! Be sure to give them a try, CHARLIE APPROVED ✅

We call this the “Snyder’s are prepping for a very big and exciting move so they had to take the large couch and leave one small one for only a couple days in the Danes bedroom so Clyde’s throwing a fit because Charlie had the couch so mom and dad had to rescue Charlie from being smooshed under Clyde but mom and dad are on a queen air mattress due to the move so they tried to get Charlie to sleep on a cozy blanket pile and then after a dramatic fit thrown and some cute glances Charles got his way and made mom and dads mattress deflate the whole night and smooshed mom against the wall and the harlequins got to snuggle on the couch together” 😌

Hi everyone🖤
It’s been a rough couple days with Charlie. He has now been at the emergency vet 2 times and then we FINALLY were able to get him to his oncologist in Malvern. He’s been very spoiled with lots of snuggles, constant watch, and coming to work every single day with us. He has not eaten since Saturday morning, he is still lethargic, and doesn’t seem to be responding to his medication.
We were very relieved to hear they looked over his xray and did not see a mass in his abdomen and his doctor doesn’t think this is lymphoma related. It’s looking like a WICKED case of pneumonia that required him to be hospitalized. He was admitted into the ICU and we had to leave him😔
He is in great hands there but we are praying for a miracle. He needs to get to the point of breathing without oxygen assistance and he needs to respond to a new antibiotic.
Please continue your prayers for our sweet boy because he has to be a fighter to pull through 🖤
Thank you for your kind words and prayers you’ve already been providing. It truly means the world to see your comments. We love this sweet boy and we would do anything to keep him safe and comfortable. I’ll post updates as we get them!

The perks of recovery!.. coming to work with mom and dad!🥹 Our sweet boy is doing AMAZINGLY! He has been a ray of sunshine at work with greeting members. Everyone is saying how he looks so much better and more vibrant. We brought him in when he started to decline before his ICU stay and he’s here again now! So everyone got to see how well he’s recovered! Charlie is getting VERY spoiled! Thank you everyone for your prayers 🥹

Reunited 🥹🫶🏼 Everyone’s going to sleep VERY well in the Snyder Zoo tonight! There’s been so much heaviness in the house without Charlie. Lots of random howling and crying throughout the night and during the day. Clyde has been laying on the floor in a ball and whimpering. It’s truly mind blowing how animals feel so much. It’s been a long 4 days!🖤

The post we’ve ALL been waiting for! Our sweet boy was cleared this morning to come home! The doctor was able to successfully wean his oxygen assistance off last night and he started eating for the doctor! After 4 long days in the ICU, hundreds.. probably thousands!.. of prayers, countless tears shed, roller coasters of emotions, lots of driving back and forth 1.5 hours each way to see our sweet boy.. he is coming home!
