For Our Friends Rescue For Our Friends, Inc. is a 501c3 rescue group saving dogs & cats in urgent need in NYC/Long Island. FOF also saves many cats/kittens from street life.

FOF saves from local shelters and focuses on saving senior dogs, dogs with medical needs & bonded pairs.

Yesterday, our adopted schnauzer puppies, formerly known as The Ramones Puppies, celebrated their first birthday!

Last January 9, JOVIE, one of three puppy mill mamas we saved a month prior, gave birth in our care.

Senior mix MAGGIE is desperately in need of a local (Long Island or Queens) foster.

She has lived a life of neglect.

She has some health issues, and has recently had surgery for a mass on her spleen and she was also spayed.

MAGGIE would do best as a solo pet in the house, or if foster could properly separate.

MAGGIE is super gentle with people, easy to walk, and so very easy to love.

She is a petite miss at only 37lbs.

Please inquire ASAP if you are interested and believe you are capable of fostering MAGGIE.

All expenses paid by us.

Monday morning, here comes MEEKO, with a little video bombing by STREAKER at the end... Two great dogs, so full of love, both available for adoption, separately, with their bonded brothers. We will be focusing on these pairs ALOT, as we want them home for the holidays. So please share the videos, pics, tell your family and friends about them. Thank you!

Happy Saturday Morning! Here is TRIXIE loving the freedom of a back yard and just bopping around being herself. This senior poodle mix has lots of energy and even more love to give, and she waits for you to realize you want to meet her and make her yours!

STREAKER never heard the expression "act your age." You would never know this playful little fella is 11 years old! He is available for adoption with his more mellow brother WEENIE. They are both wonderful dogs, so easy to care for and so very easy to love.

And here is MEEKO, the sweetest senior we know, just loving the attention and petting. MEEKO and his brother MYLO are available for adoption together! Let's get them home for the holidays!
