Thirteen years ago, Cheeto came into my life as the most unexpected gift. I had no idea a little tuxedo cat would go on to change my whole world. From our little Brooklyn apartment to corners of the world I never thought we’d reach, her spirit stretched far beyond anything I could’ve created on my own. She was my emotional anchor through people, jobs, moves, and the chaos of growing up, quietly teaching me that the best things in life often show up when you least expect them.
Cheeto pushed me back into creating, reminding me that you can start with whatever’s in front of you, even with the simplest tools, and still make something meaningful. Every photo, every post, every moment we shared online was just a tiny echo of the love and inspiration she gave me every single day.
She carried me through so many seasons of my life, opened doors to dreams I never knew I’d reach, and filled my life with a sense of community and connection I’ll always be grateful for. Her little legacy lives on in Nacho, and in every feline friend I’ll meet along the way.
