Lucky Black Cats of Mew York

Lucky Black Cats of Mew York TNR. Rescue. Adoptions. Education. Lucky Black Cats of Mew York ♡ all cats... We don't discriminat Lucky Black Cats of Mew York. We don't discriminate.

The primary goal of Lucky Black Cats of Mew York is to foster and find homes for black cats who are statistically the least likely to be adopted and most likely to be euthanized. As part of this goal we will:
Provide TNR (trap, neuter, return} on free roaming cats as a community service. Provide temporary foster homes for friendly adoptable abandoned cats found while engaged in TNR. Educate public

in attempt to dispel myth that black cats are unlucky. Although focusing on black cats is our main goal, we help any cat in need.

Adopted 🖤

Foster (asap) or adopter need....
Bear is the sweetest cat who will happily greet you when you come home and cuddle up on your lap once you’ve settled in for the day. At bedtime he will lull you to sleep with his gentle purrs. This purr machine also has the cutest meows and is very chatty during his zoomies play time. Bear is a handsome house panther with a mix of short and medium fur on his body and a long haired tail. He is learning to love being brushed, but as long as you have patience and treats his fluffy coat will be shiny, smooth and healthy.
A home where he is your one and only is ideal but he is fine in a home with another super chill cat. PM is or email [email protected]

Meet Daddy-o!... He's a real hep cat.
This super affectionate male's favorite pastime is to hang with his foster human... it's his way of showing his gratitude after being saved from life on the streets. He was so friendly, it was clear to his finder that someone had dumped him.
During his first vet visit, it was determined that Daddy-o had suffered a broken jaw that "healed" on its own. Luckily, it doesn't affect his ability to eat or cause him any pain. He is able to eat wet and dry food alike, and he loves his lickable treats a little too much!
We are hoping to find a home or another foster for him ASAP. Unfortunately, the finder's landlord knows she has him and has threatened eviction for going over the "cat limit".
Daddy-o! gets along with the resident cats in his foster home and would most likely be ok in a new home with cats as long as they are totally chill like him.
Daddy-o! is approximately 3 to 5 years old and FIV+. But don't let that deter you. He is completely healthy despite this diagnosis. You can learn more about owning an FIV+ cat and what to expect at

If you're ready to give Daddy-o! his dream home, PM us or email [email protected]
