The Love & Licks 501(c)3 Foundation is part of the Metro Paws® Pack. Proceeds of all products are donated to no-kill shelters across the US.

The Love & Licks Foundation® was created by Metro Paws® with the objective of saving as many dogs as possible. Proceeds from sales of Love & Licks products go toward no-kill feeder funds across the nation to help prevent the unnecessary premature euthanasia of dogs in shelters. In 2015, the Love & Licks Foundation saved five dogs alone. With your support, we can save many more in the years to come

Dutch says don’t worry, you’ll be so happy you decided to foster or adopt him! This super happy dude will have you smiling with his goofy shenanigans. Always in a good mood, you will love having him around to brighten your days. ⁠

Dutch is house broken and crate trained. He knows basic commands, but could use some training to learn good manners. He just loves people so much, sometimes he forgets he is a 65 lbs boy. I mean don’t be fooled, he is a lap dog, so hopefully you love to cuddle as much as Dutch does. ⁠

Rescued from a high kill shelter, Tippy is a very happy young pug. He loves to dance around the house with his little stuffie toys and wrestle with his foster brothers. When he isn’t playing he is very affectionate and loves to sleep on your lap. He gets very excited for treats, meals, and walks. He is good in the car and falls right to sleep. At night he likes to sleep in the human bed with his favorite people. He is also crate trained.⁠

Tippy is very well mannered and gets along with all people and other dogs. He walks well on the leash. He has had one eye removed due to an injury and does like to follow another dog’s lead on walks. He is mostly house trained but still can have accidents if you don’t stick to a schedule. He wears belly bands when inside to prevent accidents.⁠
⁠
The ideal home for Tippy can have both adults and dog savvy children. Tippy can live with other dogs as long as they don’t get jealous...he loves to be the center of attention and get lots of cuddles. Tippy is crate trained so he can be left home if his person needs to work outside of the house. He will need a midday potty break. Tippy would be a great dog to bring with you to the office because he is very sweet and silly. Tippy is shy in public and a bit of an introvert. He saves his sassy side for when he is at home.⁠

Tippy’s favorite things are food/treats, belly rubs, snuggles, tossing his toys, and zoomie races with his foster brothers. He loves to snack on snow peas and blueberries. He would make a wonderful addition to a pug-loving home.⁠

This smart girl is looking for a home that knows how to care for intelligent and active pups. Can you help Disco?

Meet Disco (Violet)! 🐾💜

She is one of the adorable Dalmatian pups we introduced this weekend. Her and her siblings are 7 weeks old and will be ready for furever homes April 6th!

This absolutely stunning girl is on the lower-energy side of her siblings and has the sweetest demeanor. She’s currently being fostered with one of her siblings, a Bernedoodle, and two kiddos. She is the perfect mix of playful, gentle, and loving.

Disco is all about calm companionship. She adores her people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has a naturally sweet and gentle energy. Whether she’s snuggling up for some love or quietly observing the world around her, she’s an absolute joy to be around. She’s also doing such a great job sleeping through the night and potty training! She is a smart girly ✨

Sometimes a picture says more than we ever could. This is Ladybird. She’s super smart. 🎓

This 3-year-old pup is a shelter favorite. She gets along well with other soft, mellow pups during playgroup sessions at the shelter. Ladybird is a dream in the car or on a leash, she just wants to be by your side.

She knows basic commands like sit, stay, paw, down, and she’s working on roll over.

We’re baffled that she’s been in our care for 104 days! 🤯

Can you give Gigi a loving home? 😻

Adopt Gigi!

This two year old girl’s big green eyes will draw you in! She loves to interact with people and enjoys getting pets and attention, especially neck scritches. She’ll get on your lap and you can snuggle together on the couch while you watch a movie. Gigi does like to be the director in charge, however, and as the one to decide when and for how long the pets last she asks that you respect when she’s had enough for now. She may give you a little nip to remind you if you don’t get the hint. No hard feelings, though: Gigi will go have some playtime (such fun!), maybe take a nap in one of her favorite cozy beds, and then she’ll be back for the next round of love.

Gigi isn’t really keen on other cats and must be your one and only kitty love. We haven’t seen her around dogs to know her thoughts on the canine species. We recommend an adult home or one with older cat-savvy kids who understand that Gigi can get a bit overstimulated. As you get to know each other well and learn Gigi’s preferences, this diminishes and you can enjoy plenty of quality time together!

Yeti may be big, but he’s still a puppy at heart. Do you know anyone who can give him a home?

1-year-old big boy Yeti is a dream dog if you’re into large breed mellow pups. Some foster notes below;

“Yeti is a tall, lean ball of sunshine. His philosophy is ’Don’t worry, be happy’ and all he wants to do is hang with you, get pets and cuddles, and play with toys. He lives for giving and getting affection. He is around 1 year old, so he does still have short bursts of jump around puppy energy. He tries to be gentle and has good awareness of his size, but he is tall, with long gangly legs and a long waggy tail, so probably best with older children. He is perfectly fine with being handled all over and is afraid of nothing - he even let me vacuum his fur, which is soft and fluffy. He loves my 20lb dog, but Yeti has no understanding of why anyone might want personal space (he will try to eat out of the same bowl at the same time), so he should only be with very tolerant dogs.”

Love Letters from Foster 💌

Vega: What Vega lacks in size he makes up for in personality and cuddles. His favorite activities are sunbathing, working from home or the office with the humans, and fetch. Vega has been great about using his p*e pads when he’s not outside exploring the garden. He is getting along so well with his feline roommates and dogs as well! This guy would make a great addition to any home

George: (Brown Puppy)He is The explorer! The most adventurous of the group and has a daring personality.

Both of these babies are doing well with potty training. They have been raised with their momma and siblings up to this point. They are well socialized and thriving!
