Hi Everyone,
I have an 8 year old Boxer who is starting to grey a little faster & it breaks my heart because it makes her age more real to me. When I tell you she saved my life & has been so patient with me it would be an understatement. She is the last thing my late brother & I have in common & was the only reason I didn’t succumb to my depression after he passed away. I know eventually I will have to let her go. This is my first dog that I won’t have my parents to handle the crossing over & basically my first dog as an adult that I’ve had from 8 weeks old until now. I work from home & take her everywhere I go & she lives such a good life (she deserves it & then some) but I was curious as to how you all may have coped with your babies getting older? I want to live in the moment & just appreciate her while she’s here but it still makes me sad to know that she may be entering bonus time soon. Especially because every time I walk her someone comes up to me with a story about how their Boxers lived until 9 or 10 & that’s this year & next for her & I just can’t even handle the thought. I love her so much. Her name is Bailey & she’s been my rock. Shes lived in 3 states & is the best road trip buddy ever. 🥹💜

This poor girl made her way into my store early this morning. We could not locate an owner. So she went to the vet then to get a nice bath before coming home to meet my furr brats. I was excited when they all go along very well. Poor girl has obviously been through a lot and I look forward to seeing her progress as we get her back to health and give her a home that she deserves.
