Honey Butter Sweet Alabama Pecanbread 🍯😋
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
For the Honey Butter Glaze:
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
While the bread bakes, prepare the glaze by mixing honey, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a small bowl.
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Then transfer it to a wire rack.
