We can’t get enough of these funny faces! The one thing rescue dogs have in common is their joy in the face of trial and adversity. They are always happy, resilient and goofy creatures.

When you adopt through Every Last One you’ll be giving one of these silly faces a lifetime of funny faces!

Meet Miracle’s Babies: Coney, Rockaway and Brighton!

These little pups are miracles in themselves, making it through immense hardship and the loss of nine of their siblings to be here today. And now they are just three weeks away from being able to go to their forever homes - so adoption applications will open up soon!

Coney, Rockaway and Brighton are tiny, power house, 6 week old, little chunkers who have developed their own unique personalities: Brighton is sweet and playful, Coney is a little feisty girl with lots of personality, and Rockaway is a quiet and calm boy who is just happy to be here.

Looking for the perfect pup to complete your life? Submit an application on our site for one of these sweet beans and you’ll be able to bring them home before the end of August!

Saving the overlooked and undervalued dogs of NYC means that often times the dogs we save require a little extra care!

In the last month, we have taken on FOUR amazing pups with extensive medical needs.

Since coming into care, Zoo has had open access to specialist who are searching for the root cause of his illness. The road ahead is long but we are committed to sticking by Zoo.

Luna’s surgeons were unable to get clean margins during the tumor removal and the tumor is at risk of growing back. We are devising a  care plan to ensure Luna has the best chance at a happy, healthy life.

Mama miracle will need to be spayed in the upcoming weeks and all 3 of her babies will require a host of vaccinations and wellness checks.

Dolly is receiving 7 weeks of antibiotic treatment to cure the infection and will need follow up bloodwork and eventual tumor removal.

Donating to the Every Last One Medical fundraiser will ensure that these four pups and any other pup in our care who needs treatment is able to receive it - no questions asked.

We are asking for support with the ongoing medical care and overall support  for our amazing pups while they wait for their forever homes!

Welcome to the fam Kirin, Petey and Moo Hoo (fka Almond)!

These three pups were saved from our local shelter this week and are headed to foster care!

Once they settle in, we’ll be sure to share more about each of these sweet pups. We can’t wait to update you all on their quirky personalities and share the one million reasons why you should adopt them!

In the meantime however, we want to send a huge thank you to our growing foster community who are the number one reason why ELO was able to save the lives of not only these pups but all those who came before and the many who will come after! We couldn’t do it without you!

Meet Luna. As of today, Luna is officially part of the ELO family and the 65th rescue pup we’ve saved! 💪

Luna, was found tied to a tree in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on July 21st by two guardian angels.

At the vet they learned she was not chipped, and has a malignant tumor on her nose and needs surgery ASAP. The women reached out to ELO for support. We banned together, wasted no time agreeing to take Luna into our care.

Luna is now safe in foster care and is scheduled for surgery later this week that will cost upwards of $3,000.

We believe Luna is young and has a great future ahead. She is a sweet, energetic, and loving pup who attaches to people easily. 💗

We have rescued Atari!!

You may have met Atari when put out the call for a rescue to pull him from the shelter this weekend. And now this 9 year old gentleman will be making his great escape next week and we’re honored that Atari is an Every Last One foster!

Atari came to the ACC when his owner was moving out of state and believed Atari would not do well on the move and requested he be euthanized. We’re as disgusted as you probably are with that decision. Luckily, the shelter decided instead to give him a second chance and ELO jumped at the opportunity to rescue him.

While in the shelter Atari has had a rough go. He’s suffered from pneumonia and kennel cough. He’s coming out the other side and we’re committed to giving him the best care and finding him a forever home to enjoy his senior years.

Puppies, seniors, old or young - it doesn’t matter. We pride ourselves in helping dogs of all ages find their forever homes. Because the commitment remains the same - we’re going to save them ALL!

EVERY 👏 LAST 👏 ONE 👏

Zoo was at the ACC for seven months and was scheduled to die last week. Despite a plethora of testing, the ACC was unable to identify why Zoo was producing bloody urine and had a thickened bladder.

This week Zoo will start his medical journey to which is expected to be an extremely expensive journey. As a non profit that relies on the goodwill and support of dog lovers, we are fundraising to help us cover the cost of providing Zoo with the chance at life he so deserves.

Every rescue dog deserves to live with love and dignity. While we ultimately may not be able to save Zoo, we will give him a safe place to rest and want his time to be nothing but pure love and joy, for however long that may be.

We would love your support in saving Zoo.

It’s been a big week over here! Just in time for our 4 month anniversary, NINE of our Every Last One dogs were adopted this week, including two of our long term fosters Wall-E and Pearl!

We’re so grateful for everyone who spread the word, talked about ELO any chance you had and helped these dogs find their homes, including the three fosters who decided they couldn’t live without these dogs forever. It’s the best kind of fail!!!

Now we’re making room to save some more dogs who are at risk for euthanasia, puppies from the shelter and dogs with no where else to go. We’re gonna save ‘em all!!! Every 👏 Last 👏 One! 👏

🦋Please share this far and wide!🦋

Knox NEEDS a foster or better yet, a forever home by 7/7, after the Fourth of July holiday! We pulled him into rescue without a second thought, but now we need a safe space for Knox to land. He was neutered yesterday and can be transported after the holiday. He is so fearful in the shelter, they would not keep him alive in there🥺Just watch these videos!!! It says it all. His previous owners reported him to be good with other dogs and kids, but they could no longer care for him, which has put him in a fatal situation🥲

We know fostering Is a commitment in nyc and many do not equipped or able to foster or adopt, living alone or in small apartment. We provide all supplies and a 24/7 support system. Our community is filled with dog lovers here to guide you! Opening up your heart and my home is a life changing experience 🩷You will not be doing it without the support of an amazing rescue, at all capacities. The rescue can cover everything for fosters, we just need space for him.

Please DM us if you’re even just curious. You could have your new bestie here, or better yet save a life.

Some happy news for your Sunday evening! This week we welcomed Bubba, who was found by an amazing group of women after he was dumped in a dog park in Brooklyn. We will be welcoming Simone and Bendly to our family this week. Simone (formally Pupernickel) and Bendly were dogs given the euthanasia command at the shelter. We’re ecstatic to say we have saved them and are now on the path to getting them what they truly deserve, a safe and happy forever home!

We can’t do what we do without the generosity of fosters who open their homes and without financial contributions that allow us to offset the costs for our dedicated fosters. If you’re able to even donate just $5, you’re going to help make the difference in who we can save next.

Thank you so much! We appreciate your support!

Every Last One Rescue is where special dogs come for a special chance at life.

Here’s what makes ELO magical:

⭐️ ELO is SOLEY pulling dogs from the local ACC’s. EVERY LAST ONE rescue is Boroughbred just like our dogs!

⭐️ ELO is placing each and every single dog we rescue directly into a foster home in order to put a firm end to shelter life AND prepare our dogs for success in their forever home— the ultimate goal!

⭐️ ELO focuses specifically on NYC dogs and we don’t forget about the human component and community members too! Knowing the current state of our great city, ELO has remained dedicated to accepting owner surrenders and abandoned dogs before they enter the ACC whenever we have the capacity to do so!

⭐️ Our rescue has no bias. Our dogs range from seniors, puppies, those with behavioral concerns and those who are immediately ready for adoption. Every 👏 last 👏 one is worth the same amount of love and dedication as the next!

We are on a mission to save EVERY 👏LAST 👏 ONE 👏 and THIS is how we do it!

Come out tonight to Brewery to hang with the ELO Team and some of our pup friends! Located in the center of Union Square, we will have all the things you need to stay cool on a hot summer night and a pool for our adoptable dogs to play in.

Seriously, what else would you want to do on a Thursday night besides have a beer and watch dogs splish splash all the live long day. Isn’t the what summer in NYC is all about!

We hope to see you there!

The ACC calls and Every Last One answers! A new group of pups have joined the ELO foster family and we’re so excited to introduce you to our 6 new besties!

Unless you’re living under a rock you know that our shelters are over capacity in NYC. As a proud New Hope Partner of the ACC, we’re constantly on call to take in dogs when we have the appropriate fosters who can care for them while we work to find them a forever home. And in this group, we also took in Sundae, a dog who was abandoned and thrown over a church gate in an alley.

Our mission, while filled with purpose, we know has no end, because there will always be dogs in need. And as always our goal is to save ‘em all. EVERY LAST ONE.

Another one in the books! Please join us in welcoming sweet Jitter Bug! This 1 year old unique beauty was picked up as a stray and euth listed for experiencing stress in the kennel. We’re mega stressed and we’re not the ones in a crate 23 hours a day!

Every Last One is a foster based rescue and we can only pull and save as many dogs as we have fosters. The majority of our pups come from the New York ACCs and are at risk of being put down. We rely on our community to foster when they can and spread the ELO word:

Every 👏 Last 👏 One 👏

You’re safe now gorgeous Jitter Bug! We can’t wait to see you thrive outside of the shelter. Check out our website to see how you can support ELO in our mission to save more dogs just like Jitter!

This week we welcome 4 new members of the ELO pack! Bug, Teenie, Ace, and Beanie show us that there is a rescue dog out there for everybody. Whether you want a fluffy and playful puppy, an adventurous hiking partner, or an itsy bitsy errand pal, there is a way to rescue them all! While each one of these pups comes with a different story like Bug being bought from a pet store in the Bronx and then dumped at the shelter days later or Ace being put on the euth list for not doing well in the kennel (who would 23 hours a day?!), every one of them is a loving soul ready for their forever. Join us in welcoming these incredible dogs and please share so they all find their soft landing soon!

⭐️ Meet Brie! ⭐️ The sweetest little lady you will ever meet, Brie is a one year old girl who loves people, pups and playing!

Brie is an energetic girl, who can be found either playing with stuffed toys or sitting in someone’s lap (full lap dog energy here!) She’s in that post puppy phase where she’s just incredibly eager to please, loves saying hello to anyone and everyone and just is really happy to be with her people. When it’s time to get outside, Brie loves a long walk or playing a game of tug of war to help with her energy.

Brie was found as a stray in Staten Island and brought to the ACC. Every Last One was more than happy to step in and bring her into foster care so we can work to find her the best forever home.

This beautiful little lady would do great in just about any home, but would potentially love a family where she might have a dog sibling to continue to learn from and play with. Overall Brie would be an amazing addition to any lucky family!

Interested in adopting Brie? Apply on our site - everylastonerescue.com (http://everylastonerescue.com) - and our application screeners will be in touch!

‼️SOS ‼️ We were contacted by AMC last night regarding a stray dog that had been surrendered by a good samaritan that found this injured, scared beautiful girl . We know it’s a holiday weekend, people are out of town enjoying themselves. RESCUE NEVER STOPS! We can’t turn our backs on her! we're looking for a soft place to land for this sweet 2 year old healing baby. She's approximately 50lbs and it looks as though she was caught on something or rubbed up against something. She has no medical needs besides getting some extra love while her body works to fully recover from her injury. She was brought into the Animal Medical Center as an injured stray. Our rescue will provide everything you need from food to a crate to advice and round the clock support! Please fill out a foster app or DM us if you can help!

SIX! The number of dogs saved this week from the Euth List by Every Last One!

This past week has been a whirlwind with a lot of tears! Our community stepped up to rescue 5 dogs from the Euth List - Jed (fka Solo, who you have met), Hailey, Cash, Sonyx and Cloudy Rainbow! And while we lost our foster for Lala during all of that saving, we focused on the wins.

Then this morning, thanks to this wonderful community, we were able to confirm a NEW foster for Lala and are very happy to say she is SAFE!

We can’t wait to officially introduce them to you, share their stories and personalities and most importantly, find them forever homes! But at this moment we are so grateful and in awe of the love you all have for Every Last One.

And another one! We’re excited to share that we saved this sweet, sweet face and have dubbed him Jedidiah.

Affectionately called Jed (and formerly known at the ACC as Solo) was on emergency placement because he was incredibly fearful in the shelter. We put a call out to our community and one of our amazing fosters stepped up to take him in!

Fostering with Every Last One is different than other rescues, we have to act quickly and find fosters who are trustworthy, can confidently take in the dog and commit to caring and supporting them with patience, love and understanding while they decompress and get into a routine. We’re thankful for this small but mighty and growing community.

We’re in high need of fosters to save dogs on the Euthanasia List. If you or someone you know wants to foster please reach out!

We’re really proud of this one! With just 28 minutes to spare we took a leap of faith and jumped to save Lala, a dog who be euthanized at 10 AM today.

Yesterday at our adoption event at a woman applied to foster. Fostering with ELO is on demand so we didn’t know when we would need her but less than 24 hours later, with a dog in dire need, she stepped up immediately!!

Lala was saved from being euthanized and will soon be in the loving care of her new foster. Not sure why we’re once again in awe of this community because they step up EVERY. 👏 SINGLE. 👏 TIME. 👏

Now the real work starts, Lala will be spayed and in foster care next week. After that, it’s time to find her a home!

Happy Mother’s Day to our tribe of foster moms taking care of the Every Last One pups. In two months since our launch, we have rescued 31 dogs (as of today!) and could not do it without these fiercely loving women.

Thank you for all you have done for these rescue dogs. By opening your hearts and homes you have created a safe haven for dogs who everyone has given up on and helped them trust people again. None of this is possible without your support.

And to our first pregnant, borough bred mama, Olivia, who was adopted on Friday, Happy Pup Mama’s Day. We’ll never forget you!

Look at this sweet face! She and her other friends at Every Last One Rescue need help filling our Amazon Wishlist!

One of the things we pride ourselves on at ELO is making sure the people caring for our fosters are supported fully - from the physical needs of the pup to the emotional support of being a foster to a dog that’s been through it all. While we’re able to do the latter easily, we need your help getting some of our supplies purchased off of our wishlist. These include food, treats, toys, leash/collar/harness and p*e pads. Your donations go directly to the care and nourishment of dogs who are the most high risk.

If you want to make a donation of supplies not from the wishlist feel free to DM us and we can tell you where to send them! If you want to donate money to purchase supplies find us on Venmo ()!

From death row and hours away from being euthanized to hanging out on a couch, getting belly rubs, officially in foster care, Martin’s world completely turned around in just 36 hours!

Martin was in the shelter since March and was steadily declining in health and behavior. But there was one thing everyone at the shelter agreed: Martin loved so fully and so completely. He would thrive in foster care. So Every Last One found an amazing foster and rescued him today!

We are constantly in awe of this little community that is growing each day. Thank you for supporting the Rescue, for giving these dogs a chance and for being on our mission to save EVERY 👏 LAST 👏 ONE 👏 !

More to come on Marty!

ELO ANGELS: WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
Last night, one of the “Squad puppies” (Olivia Benson’s babes) continued to get sicker after a tough day of coughing and congestion. Every Last One and his foster, rushed him to the emergency vet for treatment. Fin has been diagnosed with pneumonia and has a positive outlook, thanks to the immediate action to get him the care he needed. But he is not even close to out of the woods yet, and we need your support. Our founder shares more below.

Message from Mandy, ELO Founder:

When I started Every Last One I agreed that if a dog had any chance at survival and it wasn’t putting them in pain, I was going to do everything in my power to save that dog. Last night I was given the option to euthanize Fin because of the costs of his care and I asked the question: can he be saved and is not in pain? The vet said yes he could be saved and was not in physical pain. So we moved forward with treatment to save Fin’s life.

Fin’s vet bills are currently at just over $7000 at just over 12 hours in the hospital and growing by the hour due to the care needed to help him get over pneumonia at this young age. Fin is currently in an oxygen chamber for the next 10 hours. In addition to Fin’s care, his 6 siblings will also be visiting the vet to ensure this chest infection hasn’t spread to the other dogs. Our team at ELO has done some incredible fundraising in the last 6 weeks since our launch but nothing could have prepared us for this to happen.

We’re starting this fundraiser to help us cover the costs of his care and to get him on the mend and back with his siblings. We couldn’t save Fin without the generosity provided by our community up until this point. We are hoping you’ll continue to support us as we navigate Fin’s treatment and the care for his six siblings. Thank you for caring about our small but loved Rescue. We are so grateful for all of you!

ELO ANGELS! We need your help! Lambo, who was jus rescued from death row only 3 weeks ago is in need of a new foster!!! This is due NO fault of his own, unfortunately his foster has decided she is no longer capable of fostering and is threatening to take Lambo back to the shelter. We are disappointed by these actions, because as with every dog we rescue, we clearly convey the expectations to those fostering to apply. It’s to a commitment to the dog until a stable home is found.

So we need your help! PLEASE SHARE THIS POST! We have 48 hours to find Lambo a new foster and we need to get the word out. We have tapped Facebook groups but we’re happy to have you share this in your local groups there.

Details on Lambo are below:
⭐ 2 years old and 56 lbs
⭐ Both house trained, p*e pad trained
⭐ Energetic, curious, playful but chill
⭐ Loves to be around his person
⭐ Has slight separation anxiety but with patience and training he will improve
⭐ All supplies will be provided by ELO - food, treats, toys and crate
⭐ Our rescue is willing to provide training too, if needed!
