📢 Free guided bird watching in Far Rockaway this Saturday!

NYCHA in Nature is a partnership program with NYC Audubon and the Fund for Public Housing, offering free bird-watching opportunities and exposure to nature for New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residents and the general public. The guided walking tour will lead participants around NYCHA's Beach 41st Street Houses and Bayswater Park. The Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy's educator will be on hand to talk about Jamaica Bay's marine life and how the bay supports millions of migrating birds annually. 🦅

The Pan-African Activist Sunday School is an intergenerational, Pan-African, popular education series brought to you by the Pan-African Activist Solidarity Collective made up of organizations and organizers on the frontlines of the global struggles of African people.

Our March 5th session, “Connecting Housing Struggles: Tenant Organizing Across the Diaspora,” will provide updates on struggles for housing justice around the world, including Namibia, South Africa, and the United States.

The Pan-African Activist Collective began as a solidarity effort with the movement, joining together grassroots organizers in Nigeria with organizers working within Black liberation struggles around the world.

The Sunday School series is created by activists for activists and we invite you to tune in to learn how to support and sustain our Pan-African movements!
