Audrey Rachelle will lead a guided exploration of 7 States of Tension, an acting practice that was developed by Jacque Lecox and introduced to her by the choreographer of Sleep No More, Maxine Doyle. Audrey and the Punchdrunk team continue to use this method to train performers to convey states of being through varying levels of muscle tone, tempos and rhythms of movement, focus, and breath. This practice brightens one’s awareness, expands one’s range of physicality, and provides one with a helpful framework for storytelling and relating to others.

Audrey Rachelle is currently a Rehearsal Director at Sleep No More NYC. Known best for her performances as Lady MacBeth in the hit immersive theater show, Sleep No More, Audrey Rachelle has performed and toured with dance and theater companies including Punchdrunk International, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Nashville Ballet, and The Equus Projects. Her diverse experience extends to film, television, music videos, and magazines with appearances in Comedy Central’s Broad City, Vogue Taiwan, and featured roles in the award-winning films.
