For a street dog to make it in this world it needs the ability to be sociable with humans what are those predatorial instincts will kick in!

This dog is less than a year old and his extremely fearful of people. Unfortunately in most cases where there’s food there is also people and if a dog avoid people, that dog is gonna end up very hungry unless it’s great at finding trash in the late hours.

There are many dogs that will simply live outside of someone’s house because they get fed. Sometimes this is their dog and sometimes it’s a street dog that just claimed the area.

Every dog that we seen that claim that’s territory was not welcoming anytime he passed. it is very dangerous because these are not your typical pet dogs and they’re not unleash so anything can happen.

All humans are naturally going to look at this and feel a level of wanting to help-i did too. But being here we do see the dogs successfully find their own way. This makes us ask if removing them from their natural environment, impact the animals welfare?

On the flip side it is very few and far between to see animals that are not suffering from unhelped injuries, infections, skin issues, ect. This is where the world needs rescues!

Dogs very often communicate through spatial pressure. It’s very important to understand that dogs do it better than we do. So when you are applying spatial pressure to a dog understand 2 things

1) this is their language so you do not have to speak so loudly. Pay attention to what they are understanding .

2)You are applying stress. this means if you apply a certain level of spatial pressure to the wrong dog, you will either get bit or shut that dog down. So read the dog.

The dog was guarding the rug. It could’ve been that the rug was comfortable, which caused the dog to guard it, it could’ve been from A different association.
