Meet Jett, a gentle and easy-going German Shepherd, approximately 8-9 years old, whose calm demeanor makes him a wonderful companion. Slightly smaller than typical for his breed and with brindle coloring that suggests Dutch roots, Jett enjoys spending time outside with his foster family and going for long walks to explore the world around him. Jett was a stray before joining our program. He approaches new people and other dogs with curiosity and calmness—if you're interested in giving him a forever home, please reach out to us or submit an application.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE! Congratulations—Toby is officially adopted! Since the start of the year, Toby was in foster-to-adopt. What was meant to be a short foster for medical issues and neutering turned longer due to tough ear infections. Thanks to Dr. Ross at Crown Vet, who recommended an older antibiotic, Toby’s ear healed after two months , allowing us to finish treatment. Toby hit the jackpot with his new family. Let’s wish this stunning fella a happy life!

COURTESY POST FOR BUCKY! This handsome fella is not with Sedona and we have not evaluated or met him. We are only trying to help him find a new home. If interested, please message us your phone number and we will pass your contact information to his owner.

The following photo and information is from Bucky's Dad:

This is our best boy Bucky. He’s a purebred GSD we raised from a puppy back in early 2021. Bucky is a certified therapy dog who has met, and been petted by, literally thousands of people at malls and event centers. He was raised with cats and tolerates them well. (He’s especially fond of cat food even though it’s bad for him lol).

Bucky makes the folks he meets feel better by comparison because he’s had a hard hand dealt to him by life. 15 months ago he blew out both of his back knee CCL. Surgery was able to repair one of them, but he had an allergic reaction to the surgery so the other knee has a brace. While it’s sad this has made him a very calm and easy companion, who sleeps a lot and acts like an older, mature dog. He’s walking pretty well no for moderate distances, and can do steps crosswise but narrow staircases and jumping up aren’t in his future. He loves to hang out with his people and is fine with short walks to do his necessities.

We fully intended him to be our companion for life but unfortunately our lives have taken a different direction and we are moving overseas to a country where “police dogs” are not welcomed.

We need your help. Would you consider adopting Bucky? Or fostering him?

If you are interested please supply your name and number.

If you are a rescue organization (for charitable orgs only) please call us if you can save Bucky.
